Elsa lifted her head, "It's alright, it was many years ago. I've long gotten used to it. Madam, you can rest assured. I'm used to this and have no home to long for. My late husband and I never had children. I have no attachments. I will do my utmost to take care of the young masters, not disappointing Madam's trust."
"Ah, you are devoted," Joyce awkwardly smiled.
Joyce had never imagined Elsa had such a tragic past. She didn't press further.
At that moment, Mrs. Powell passed by from the dining room.
Luther gave Joyce a look.
Joyce hurriedly waved to Mrs. Powell, "I just baked a pizza, come have a slice."
Mrs. Powell hesitated at the door, feeling somewhat flattered, "Oh, no need. Madam, Mr. Warner, I've already had breakfast."
"Have a slice, it takes energy to care for children. Freshly baked pizza tastes best when hot. It would be a waste of Elsa's skills," Joyce insisted, handing a slice to Elsa and instructing her to distribute the rest later.
Elsa nodded, "Alright, Madam."
Mrs. Powell then entered.
Taking the steaming pizza, she was filled with inexplicable emotions. Despite their status and power, this family had no airs about them. Her hands trembled slightly.
"Why aren't you eating? Sit, we don't have many rules here," Joyce encouraged.
Anderson and Iris had finished eating, and both got up.
Anderson said, "Mom, Dad, we're done eating and heading to school. Uncle Aaron is waiting downstairs for us."
Iris told Mrs. Powell, "Auntie, please have a seat, I'll give you my spot."
Mrs. Powell was further moved.
Despite her reservations, she stood tentatively, "It's fine, I'll just stand and eat."
With caution, she took a bite of the pizza.
"Go on, have fun at school," Joyce bid farewell to Anderson and Iris, feeling that it was safer for the two children to be at school during the day.
Luther pulled Iris to him, kissed her on the head, and then let her go, "Be good, go on."

The readers' comments on the novel: Wrong marriage and sweet love (Joyce and Luther)
If this is the ending of this story the story then I wish I hadn’t started reading it doesn’t even end right has not closure. To bad these writers don’t put much into their endings....
When will the new chapters come I can't wait any longer...
Very strange ending, is Joyce pregnant again or does she still have remnants of the devil with her. Christian should have apologized and made up with Luther and Felix. Too much violence and twists and turns, once settled, everyone should be happy and healthy....
Omg… can’t you just let Luther and Joyce live in peace with their children….another controversy doesn’t add to the story....
Not again, ugh … just get rid of this disgusting despicable woman...
Hopefully the underground bio lab East523will be found soon and Luther will make a full recovery, Lily will be reunited with the family and all will be good. Otherwise this will be a very disappointing story....
Please don’t make more trouble for Joyce and Luther, they need to have their children and be happy...
Looking forward to Joyce shooting Otis where it will hurt him the most and end his disgusting ways with women. He’s a pig, deserves to lose his “unit”....
Just tell him you’re the one that saved him , not the evil woman and find your beautiful love story together. Quit being a wet blanket, too smart for that....
I hate it when the hero and heroine are made out to be fools for the evil people that wish to steal their lives and live. Hopefully Charlotte is found out quickly and removed. Why should a villain with an illegitimate child reap all the rewards. Terrible....
