Bill showed up with a deadly glare.
His domineering figure prevailed among his sturdy men.
Arabella was unable to process the situation quickly but she snapped out of it.
She had to pull herself together again to face the devil.
Eric was just behind her for her support.
Without him, she would be the loser of all losers.
She would probably be left in the street forever finding her beloved son.
"Bill Sky, give me back my son! " She had no time to waste as she roared angrily to the man.
Bill's sharp eyes bore into her then he snapped his fingers.
Two noblemen and one woman with professional attires strode forward to Arabella.
The sun was scorching hot but nobody seemed to feel it.
The tension between men and the couple seemed hotter than the sun.
"Good day Mrs. Sky! We are the private lawyers of Mr. Bill Sky." Arabella heard the woman's introduction clearly.
Judging from their professional demeanors, one could easily say that they were one of the best lawyers in the country.
She suddenly felt scared.
Of course, she was dealing with the mighty Bill Sky, what could she expect?
It seemed only the top-notch professionals were allowed to work for him.
Arabella looked at Bill Sky with full of resentments in her eyes.
She felt something bad would happen.
He was using his power, connections, and money against her.
How cruel he is!
Eric strode closer to Arabella and held her hand.
Eric's action didn't slip from Bill's eyes.
His look turned deadlier.
It was clear to Bill, now that she had found a new man, he would be more daring.
Not just a man.
It was Eric Grant.
Earlier, he called up his special investigator to investigate Eric Grant.
He knew him personally in the business circle but he wanted to dig more information about him.
"I want to know what is Eric Grant's relationship with Arabella Jones," Bill ordered precisely.
He didn't want to start from scratch as he already knew him or maybe that wasn't his interest.
He was more interested in Arabella and Eric's relationship.
Why did Eric and Arabella become so close all of a sudden?
Bill Sky was never nosy especially to someone's life as he had more important things to deal with every day.
For him, it was just a waste of time.
It was only Arabella who made him do it.
Her intimacy with Eric Grant was making him go crazy and he couldn't deny it.
The scene in front of him was an eyesore for him.
"Mrs. Sky, please accept this letter." The noblest and eldest of the lawyers handed her documents.
Arabella wanted to refuse them but she received and read them quickly.
It was coming from the court.
She was holding a final custody decree.
It was clearly stated that Bill Sky had the legal right of Adam Sky.
The full child custody was granted to him sealed and signed by the highest judge.
It instantly gave her the biggest shock.
Her eyes grew wider.
At this time, she really wanted to collapse.
Unconsciously her body stumbled but Eric got her back.
He supported the girl whose knees had softened.
Eric was also flabbergasted.
Scrutinizing the documents, it was legit.
He didn't anticipate Bill's move.
With his connections, globally it was just a piece of cake for him to obtain his child's full custody.
Bill was always cunning as a fox, how could they take him so lightly?
But the circumstances were beyond their control.
Bill seemed to plan it all ahead of time.
She was not the only one who had plans.
"Mrs. Sky, it was clearly stated here that your right with your son is nullified..." One of Bill's lawyers sounded but was stopped seeing Eric's right hand lifted in the air.
Eric just wanted him to stop. Arabella was not in a proper mind to absorb it now but he was sure she already have an idea about what was written in the documents.
"Mrs. Sky, here is another document." The only woman of the lawyers sounded again handing her another paper.
The woman saw Arabella's pale face but she had to do her job under her most VIP client's gaze.
When Arabella had not yet gotten over with her shock here comes another one.
With her hand unstoppably shaking, she received the document.
Seeing the second document, Arabella's heartbeat had stopped for a while.
It was another biggest shock of her life.
Bilk Sky had signed the divorce contract.
Their marriage just ended along with his signature affixed in the document.
Arabella didn't know how to feel.
Finally, she was free from him but she had to pay the highest price.
Adam.
Bill clearly wanted to eliminate her from their lives.
Why did she feel unhappy after her most precious wish had been granted?
Her two marriages with Bill Sky were nulled.
She should be jumping for joy but her feet were too heavy.
Her body was stiff like the gravity was extremely pulling her down but she refused to fall.
On the other hand, Eric was relieved with the second document. Finally, Arabella Jones was now free from Bill Sky.
Analyzing Bill's move, he signed the documents to get rid of Arabella in his and her son's life.
He also signed the document to get back the share of his company and kicked Arabella out of her position.
Bill Sky was cunning but he could not defy his late grandfather's will that he had applied legalities on the matter.
Now, Arabella was left with nothing.
It was wrong for her to defy him or even the thought of revenging Bill Sky.
"Calm down. We are going to consult my lawyers about this." Eric whispered at Arabella just to appease her. It was obvious that she was now on the brink of hopelessness.
"Adam! Adam! " Instead of calming down, she sounded desperate.
She had to do everything to get Adam back.
"Adam! Adam!" She stormed towards the plane. Adam must be inside the plane. She struggled as her body felt weaker. The sleepless nights finding Adam and the shocking legalities were too much for her to absorb. She didn't care all about it.
All she wanted was her son. There are no legalities to a mother who never wanted to separate from her child.
The world was cruel to those who are powerless.
Law was not for the poor. It was always with the powerful.
That was how unfair reality is.
"Adam! My son! Mom is here! Let's go home now!" She roared at her loudest.
