You Can Run But You Can't Hide My Contractual Wife novel Chapter 275

Eric proceeded directly to Arabella's apartment but to his surprise, she saw Arabella entering a cab before he could step down.

"Mr., please follow that cab in front of you. I will pay you big as long as you don't lose them." Eric quickly ordered as he got his phone and dialed Arabella's number.

She didn't answer.

"Arabella, where are you going?" Eric muttered in the air.

"Don't lose them. Okay?" Eric said to the driver.

"Yes sir. I got this." The cab's driver answered fast.

After a while, Arabella's cab stopped in front of a hotel.

"What are you doing here, Arabella?" He muttered again feeling something bad.

Eric dialed her number again.

She answered.

"Brother Eric?" She answered cheerfully.

Eric looked at her wearing casual clothes.

He was just behind her.

"Where are you now?" Eric asked coolly.

"Oh, I'm...I'm just in my apartment right now." She answered back.

"Oh... okay. Will visit you as soon as I get back." Eric controlled the mixed sensation he felt at the moment.

Why was she lying to him?

"What are you up to, Arabella?"

His curiosity was killing him.

Arabella strode inside the hotel's lobby.

She was just wearing a crop top white shirt and denim pants paired with white rubber shoes.

She looked sporty but chic.

She had a tall sexy figure so her simplicity was still very stunning to everyone.

Three men came over to her, Eric was alarmed but seeing that they only reached something to Arabella and left, he stayed rooted in his spot.

"Who are those men, Arabella?" Eric muttered in the air doubtfully.

'What is she's into?' His thought was restless.

Eric continued tailing Arabella.

His heart was beating fast.

He was not used to Arabella's being secretive.

Analyzing everything, Eric could not get a hold of any right reason why she lied to him.

What's her secret?

Why did she have to lie to him?

Arabella told him about all her problems before.

He knew she trusted him a lot.

But now, she was on her own.

What is her secret? and why she was not telling him?

Arabella quickly hopped inside the elevator after looking left and right.

It was so obvious that she was avoiding the crowd's eyes.

When the elevator had closed, Eric quickly ran towards the elevator.

He looked at Arabella's elevator screen and saw Arabella's floor number.

He was shocked.

It was on the 55th floor.

The penthouse.

Eric didn't want to think in advance.

The hotel was one of the largest hotels of the Sky Corporation.

It should not be a question of who is living in the penthouse.

Bill Sky.

'Why?' Eric frowned deeply why he muttered in the air.

He could not get the point why she had to see Bill Sky.

She hated him so much.

Bill Sky is the villain in her life.

Why did she have to come to him?

Did he threaten her again?

Did he use Adam Sky to get her?

Or maybe...

Maybe they were together again.

Maybe they decided to fix their relationship while he was away.

Eric felt very restless with his thoughts.

Of all the rooms in the building, the penthouse is the most secured place.

Arabella seemed to have an access to the penthouse.

He couldn't think of anyone right now who would help her access the penthouse unless Bill Sky let her enter his place.

He had to get in the penthouse too before anything could happen to her.

Eric quickly went to the hotel's reception.

"Mr. Grant? Mr. Eric Grant?" The woman sounded cheerfully seeing him.

He didn't recognize her but he smiled.

Heaven was helping him right now.

"Hi!" He uttered in a very friendly tone.

He was used to this kind of recognition but for today it was an extra because this woman would help him.

"Mr. Grant, do you remember me? Ms. Grissele from the manager's department. I am one of your hotel's managers before. Apparently, my family decided to transfer to Capital Z so I have to resign from your company." The woman seemed very happy and in disbelief seeing her former boss.

She seemed to tell her entire life if he would not stop her.

"Ms. Grissele, I'm very pleased to meet you here." Eric quickly cut her.

He couldn't remember her but he had to act as if he knew her.

"I'm sorry but I have to see Mr. Bill Sky." Eric leaned over to her. "Can you help me get into his penthouse?" Eric whispered.

Griselle looked left and right assuring no one heard them.

Then she raised a thumbs-up along with her naughty smile.

"Leave it to me, sir," Griselle replied.

She went away for a little while.

Eric waited patiently but his thoughts were already fighting inside him.

Griselle went back after a minute with a wide smile.

He knew she spared an access card successfully.

She simply slipped it inside his coat's pocket and nodded.

"I owe you this one Griselle. I'll pay you for this." Eric tapped Grissele's shoulder and hurriedly ran off.

He jumped inside the private elevator that only catered to the penthouse.

He clenched his hands into fists.

He could not let Arabella be with Bill Sky again after witnessing how he tortured Arabella.

How he awfully hurt her made him very angry.

"What is going in your mind, Arabella?" He asked in the air then losing his temper, his knuckle smashed the elevator's steel surface.

With his messy thoughts, he could not find his calm.

"Come on! Come on! Come on!" He just wanted the elevator to stop before it was too late as he kept on pressing the floor's button.

Meanwhile, Arabella reached the penthouse.

She strode the long hallway then she stopped in front of another lobby.

"May I know your name, madame?" A man receptionist asked politely.

"Arabella... Arabella Jones." She answered.

The receptionist smiled.

He seemed to know her.

"Here, madame." The man gave her an access card to another elevator.

The 55th flr. was a view deck but one needs another access card to the penthouse.

It seemed Senator Meyer's men were too good at tracking Bill's whereabouts and arranging everything for her arrival.

When she received his location, she could not help to hope that Adam is with him.

Along with her intensifying fear of seeing the monster again, she still had high hopes for her son.

She stared at the doorbell and she couldn't help to imagine that Adam would be the one to open her.

Adam was just behind the door.

She heaved a deep sigh.
