You More Than Anything In The World novel Chapter 1153

His meeting lasted for two hours. It was surprising to hear that Kingsley had only left a while ago.

Benjamin pulled Arissa into his arms and asked, “What did he say to you?”

Sensing the jealousy in his voice, Arissa was amused. When she turned around and saw the gloomy expression on his handsome face, she gently pinched his cheek. “What's with the long face? Smile!”

Pursing his thin lips, he fixed his eyes on her, feeling displeased.

“What else? It's about the same thing. He was just asking if I had any besties who could help him out...”

She told him about her conversation with Kingsley lest Benjamin got green-eyed.

After hearing what she said, Benjamin snorted. His jealousy had dissipated a lot.

“He's just looking for troubles. Did he disturb your rest? Are you tired? Do you want to go in and lie down for a while?”

“I'm fine. Have some fruits.” Arissa picked up a piece and put it in his mouth.

Benjamin wanted to accompany her for a while after having a few pieces. However, his subordinate had come to report work to him.

When the subordinate saw them being intimate with each other, he stopped at the door and didn't enter.

Holding the plate of fruits, she gently bumped Benjamin and said, “Go ahead with your work.”

“All right. Don't play with your phone for too long.” After stroking her head, he stood up and straightened his clothes. Then he went to his office desk and let his subordinate in.

“Mr. Graham, Mrs. Graham,” the man greeted and walked over to Benjamin to report the work.

Arissa nodded in response and felt a little embarrassed when she met his eyes. She sat on the couch quietly and continued eating. Instead of scrolling on her phone, she listened to their discussion.

Soon after, Arissa was bored with it. She took her phone with her and entered the lounge, preparing to lie down for a rest.

Right then, she received a call from William.

“Mrs. Graham, are you with Mr. Graham? I can't reach him by phone!” he sounded anxious.

Arissa was stunned. “Yes, what's wrong?” Perhaps Benjamin had switched off his phone when he was in the meeting earlier.

“Old Mr. Graham fell!” William said.

“Is Dad all right? Where did he get hurt?” Arissa stood up at once, feeling extremely worried.

William immediately gave her a brief account of the situation. “... I'm with Old Mr. Graham in the hospital now. He is having his X-ray taken. The result is not out yet.”

“Are you in Centralyte Hospital? I'm going there right now.” Arissa walked out while talking on the phone.

“What happened?” Benjamin asked when he saw her looking rather unsettled.

“Dad fell at home earlier. He's in the hospital now. I need to go and have a look,” Arissa replied.

Benjamin frowned. He turned around and said to the executive, “Write a report to me for the rest of the matters. I have to go to the hospital now!”

“Yes, Mr. Graham!” Knowing that something had happened to Darius, the executive didn't hold Benjamin up anymore.

“I'll go with you to the hospital.” Taking his coat, Benjamin grabbed Arissa's hand and went out together.

Arissa nodded in agreement.

“Is it serious?” Benjamin was worried.

“William said that Dad is having his X-ray taken now. The result is not out yet.” Arissa wasn't sure about the details either.

Benjamin didn't ask anything more. The couple rushed over to the hospital at once.

As soon as they reached the hospital, they saw that Darius was conscious and was having a cast applied to him.

“Dad!”

“Dad!”

Benjamin and Arissa sized him up worriedly. When they found that he had only injured his arm, they let out a sigh of relief.

“Why are you here? I thought I told William to keep you guys in the dark because I didn't want you to worry.” Darius flashed a glare at William.

William touched his nose sheepishly and explained, “I was just worried about you. That was why I told Mrs. Graham about it. Besides, you had quite a bad fall too!”

You even got a cast.
