99 Bloody Lashes And A Bullet To His Hear novel Chapter 26

The words Daniel had said that day didn’t stay in Sarah’s mind.

She quietly waited for her immigration papers to be processed and planned to leave as soon as possible.

But Emily wouldn’t let her go that easily.

One day, Emily enthusiastically insisted on taking her shopping, but not long after getting into the car, she was drugged.

When she opened her eyes again, she found herself tied to a cliff by the sea.

On the other side, Emily was bound in the same position.

She struggled desperately, trying to ask Emily why, but the words she tried to speak were muffled into sobs by the tape over her mouth.

Emily seemed to sense her question, giving her a cold smile.

“Sarah, I don’t want to kidnap you.”

“But Daniel’s words that day kept bothering me, and I just wanted to prove who was more important to him.”

Hearing those words, a wave of bitterness washed over Sarah.

What was there to prove? The answer was obvious, wasn’t it?

Soon, Daniel arrived in a hurry, bringing two boxes of cash, after receiving word from the kidnappers.

He threw the boxes forward, his voice cold and commanding, “I’ve brought the money, now let them go!”

But the kidnappers, who had already received Emily’s orders, remained unmoved, casually replying, “Mr. Foster, I didn’t kidnap them for money.”

Daniel’s expression shifted slightly, and his tone turned colder, “What do you mean by that?”

The kidnapper placed a hand on Sarah and Emily’s shoulders, grinning menacingly.

“I’ve heard that one of these women is the daughter of your friend, and the other is your fiancée. You can only save one. The other… I’ll throw into the sea to be eaten by sharks. You choose.”

With that, the rope around their necks loosened slightly, and both women were dangerously close to falling into the

sea below.

Emily’s face turned white with fear, and her voice trembled uncontrollably. “Daniel, save me! I don’t want to die!”

Daniel’s heart tightened. “Don’t move, Emily!”

The choice was clear.

The kidnapper smiled in satisfaction, and even Emily, pretending to be frightened, sighed in relief.

She looked at Daniel with fake gratitude, but Daniel instinctively glanced toward Sarah.

He expected her to break down, to feel hopeless, but all he saw on her face was calm.

For some reason, seeing her serene expression made Daniel feel a sudden unease.

Before he could speak, Emily, now free, leaped into his arms in what appeared to be a moment of overwhelming emotion.

Daniel instinctively held her close. “Emily…”

But in the next moment, Daniel’s pupils contracted in horror.

Sarah’s ropes had been cut at the same time, and she plunged directly into the sea.
