99 Bloody Lashes And A Bullet To His Hear novel Chapter 73

Before long, the day of the birthday party arrived. Joe didn’t invite Olivia, and she had no intention of going either. She stayed home alone, but not long after he left, she received a call from Sophia. 1

“Joe is proposing today, but he left the ring at home. Secretary Brown, would you be so kind as to bring it over?”

There was a condescending edge to her voice, laced with disdain.

Completely unprepared, Olivia was caught off guard and trapped in the man’s grip. She instinctively opened her mouth to call for help, but before she could, he leaned in, trying to kiss her.

“Don’t struggle, sweetheart. Miss Harris paid me a hefty sum to spend a passionate night with you. Even if you scream, no one’s coming to save you. Now, let me have a taste first!”

His laughter was vile, his breath reeking of alcohol and cigarettes.

A wave of terror surged through Olivia. She quickly turned her head to dodge his kiss, pushing desperately against

his chest.

But to the man, her struggles were nothing more than playful resistance. He pinned her against the wall, one hand
