99 Bloody Lashes And A Bullet To His Hear novel Chapter 83

Joe let out a bitter smile. Because back then, he had been consumed with thoughts of Sophia, who had gone abroad. When he saw Olivia, his whole heart trembled.

She was so much like her.

Even after Jennifer repeatedly warned him not to develop improper feelings for Olivia, he could not let go. He didn’t even know when he truly developed feelings for her, and could only regret when she, heartbroken, chose to

leave.

He buried his face in his hands, stifling his emotions as he quietly cried. Jennifer, sitting in the front seat, didn’t care. She simply instructed the driver to leave. Soon, the car stopped at the hotel, and without waiting for him, she got out and went upstairs.

The next morning, she coldly knocked on his hotel room door. When he opened it, disheveled and unshaven, she frowned in slight disgust. “Hurry up and pack. I’ve booked a 9 a.m. flight back to Edinburgh, and you’re coming with

me.”

Now, she wouldn’t dare leave Joe alone in Olivia’s city. If he was to leave, it had to be with her. She wasn’t sure if the drama from the wedding would spread, but she had to prepare in advance. She couldn’t let Olivia get hurt by them again.

On the other side, when Olivia woke up, she found that her father had already had her luggage packed and sent over. It was now neatly arranged in the living room, organized alongside his own belongings.

Her colorful dresses were neatly hung in his wardrobe, which usually only held black, white, and gray suits. This brought a touch of vitality to the otherwise dull closet. Her vanity, which had been a bit empty with only a few makeup and skincare products the day before, was now filled to the brim with new, unopened products of her favorite brands.

Curious, she walked over to take a bottle of moisturizer. “How did you know I use this?” she asked, shaking it in front

of him.

He smiled without hiding anything. “I have many ways of finding out what I want to know.” He gently pulled her into his arms, planting a kiss on the corner of her lips. Through the mirror, his eyes met hers, watching her cheeks flush slightly.

She playfully pushed him away but couldn’t move him. Eventually, she gave up. As she shifted, the noticeable hickeys on her neck caught his possessive gaze. Feeling uncomfortable, she tugged at her collar to cover them. Then, her curiosity got the best of her, and she asked, “You found out a lot?”

Charlie shook his head. “Just some trivial things. As for my wife’s personal matters, if my wife is willing to share them with me, I’d rather hear them from her.”

Like yesterday’s chaotic wedding with Joe.
