A Crazy One-night Stand novel Chapter 23

Alina lifted the hem of her dress and went to the bathroom quickly. She didn't want Wilson to wait for a long time.

The hem of the dress dragged on the ground, so she had to roll up the hem a few times to avoid dirtying the dress.  

After Alina used the bathroom, she breathed a sigh of relief. Then, she went to the sink to wash her hands.

"What's wrong with you?" An unfamiliar woman standing nearby glared at Alina fiercely.

Alina turned to her. The woman pointed at a few drops of water on her dress.

Alina frowned, she didn't do anything to her. "Miss, are you referring to me?"

The woman was infuriated at Alina's words and raised her voice. "Yes, you! Are you blind? Can't you dry your hands properly instead of flinging water everywhere? Look at my dress! You've soiled my dress with the dirty water from your hands. Are your hands even clean? Who knows if it was water or something else disgusting?"

"Miss Marie, this woman has no manners. Let's teach her a lesson!" Two women dressed in evening gowns appeared. 

One of them said in a shrill voice, "You are right. Miss Marie, we can't let this slide so easily. She looks like a civilised person but she doesn't even know how to dry her hands properly. What a pity!"

Alina furrowed her brow and tried to explain herself, "Miss, I'm afraid you must be mistaken."

After she had washed her hands, she dried her hands under the dryer. How could she have splattered water on her? This woman was obviously finding fault with her. Suddenly, Anne's face flashed in her mind. It was very possible that Anne engaged these women to embarrass her. What should she do? 

After considering her options, the best solution was to avoid any confrontation. Alina tried to leave the scene.

She didn't expect that these women would stop her from leaving. They were there to find fault with her, it was obvious that they would not let her go. One of them grabbed Alina's arm and cried out, "Trying to leave after dirtying Miss Marie's clothes? You must be poorly brought up!"
