A Cue for Love novel Chapter 900

Chapter 900 The Hunter And The Prey Part Four

Jerry could not get a good look at Natalie because she was too far away before. When Jerry finally got close enough, he realized how exquisite Natalie’s facial features were. The fact that Natalie was in a white bunny costume only made her all the more attractive. I guess it’s only natural that men would find it difficult to look away.

“How much?”

“What?” Natalie raised an eyebrow curiously at Jerry.

“Am I not speaking loud enough? How much do you want? One million? Or two million?” questioned Jerry haughtily. “You’re only here because of money, right? I don’t see why else you’d dress up like that to work at this party.”

When Natalie heard the man, she could not help but laugh out loud. Oh, wow! This is amusing, if nothing else. ”What’s wrong with the way I dress? Who do you think it is that wants to see me dressed up like this? And about the money…”

“One or two million? Are you kidding me? That’s loose change!”

Jerry’s face immediately hardened after Natalie uttered those words coldly, for he never expected that the woman would be that demanding. Does she seriously think she’s worth hundreds of millions?

“Who gave you the right to bother my brother-in-law?” Jerry looked daggers at Natalie as he continued, “I’m only offering you money to leave him alone because I’m trying to be nice, yet you think you can negotiate with me? Who do you think you are?”

Natalie suddenly realized that she had misunderstood Jerry after listening to the man. “Wait a second. Are you talking about Amos?”

“Yes, he’s my sister’s fiancé!” replied Jerry firmly.

“And you think there’s something going on between him and me? Well, you’re wrong.”

“I know what I saw. And if that’s not enough, I heard what you said just now too.” Jerry then grabbed hold of Natalie’s arm tightly. “I’m not about to let a gold-digger like you ruin my sister’s happiness!”

Natalie thought Jerry was just another playboy since he organized the adult-only party.
