Chapter 42: I'm leaving

\~Mable's POV\~

Luna and I were in the garden together walking and talking.

Jesse just came by, I was still holding the rose he gave me.

We reached the entrance to the mansion, but before we could enter, Luna stopped.

"Come on Luna what's..?"

I was at the top step, she hanged behind me on a lower step.

Her aura seemed distant, I was going to nudge her to follow me, but I stopped my self from finishing my sentence.

She looked at me with soft eyes and with the same tone of voice spoke.

"Hey, Mable. Um, I'm leaving, for the Demon continent, I just wanted to say bye before I left."

"What, your leaving, when!?."

"Yes, tonight."

"No, it's too dangerous, to go to the demon continent. Especially by yourself, you can't."

"It's alright, I'll go see Jesse and discuss with him about having a few guards escort me, it'll be fine."

"But, but..."

She started up the stairs and stood next to me.

"It'll be alright, I'll be back before you know it. Okay.?"

"Okay."

"Haha(Heavy breathing), come on Mable we need to hurry back."

I was rushing with Jesse through the crowded streets and ally ways.

Hurrying as fast as we could to the mansion.

I wasn't really focused on running, though with my hand locked with Jesse's I was following as fast as I could.

He placed his hand on my head for a moment then rushed off barking orders to guards that were close by.

Head Butler Thomas and I made brief eye contact.

"How did you know she left.?"

"She told me when we were on a walk together."

"And you didn't think to let me or Jesse know this fact.?"

"She told me that she was going to tell Jesse. I thought you would have found out through him.. So I didn't think to tell you."

"Huh( sigh), well the next time you hear something that sounds important, please tell me."

"Okay. I'm so sorry for not telling you."

"Well, there's nothing we can do about it now. All we can do is stop her, hopefully, she's not too far off."
