Chapter 100 Too Ruthless to Outplay
Natalie hadn’t seen Biarica for several days.
After work, she bought groceries and went straight to Bianca’s place. They prepared a feast together.
Before they sat down, Natalie opened a beer and took a big swig from the bottle.
Bianca was shocked!
“I hope you don’t get drunk; it’s hard to take care of you.”
Knowing Natalie’s poor alcohol tolerance, Bianca tried to feed her a piece of beef, hoping she would eat something before drinking more.
Natalie took a bite, and they exchanged a smile. As they sat down, Bianca enjoyed a piece of chicken. Both of them were naturally slender, allowing them to indulge in eating and drinking whenever they were together.
“There’s something on your mind, isn’t there?‘ Bianca remarked while observing Natalie.
Years of friendship allowed Bianca to sense when something was bothering Natalie. Instead of directly answering, Natalie took another sip of her drink.
Bianca raised an eyebrow.
Well, it seemed like there really was something on Natalie’s mind, and it was something major!
After another sip, Natalie finally spoke, “Isabella is really blind now.”
Bianca almost choked on her food. She glared at Natalie.
Seriously… she couldn’t have picked a better time to drop this bomb?!
The situation with Isabella had caused a stir in Verde City. Everyone knew she pretended to be blind and disabled to force Cedric and Natalie to divorce.
But now:
“What do you mean by that?”
Although Bianca was quick–witted, at this moment, she still didn’t understand the meaning behind Natalie’s words.
Did she mean that labelin was really blind now?
After all, the online rumors were considered facts–Isabella bribing doctors, walking freely in the hospital,
and all those videos.
Could they all be false?
Natalie sighed, “Cedric hasn’t left the hospital yet. You don’t need to think too hard to know that the
situation there is not good.”
“She faked her blindness, and now she’s really blind?! What the hell is this?!” Bianca was genuinely
puzzled.
Both Natalie and Cedric were divorced now, so Isabella’s actions shouldn’t affect them anymore, right?
Natalie had thought the same before this.
She ran her fingers through her hair and took another sip of alcohol. Only the taste of alcohol could temporarily calm her now.
“I want to know why she hates me so much. Why would she go to such lengths, even blinding herself to get back at me?”
She wasn’t blind before–it was all part of the deception.
And now, she was truly blind.
Bianca swallowed nervously. “There are no grudges between you two, so she shouldn’t hate you so much, right? You haven’t done anything to her.”
“Yeah, that’s why it’s even stranger. I really want to know why she hates me so much, to the point she would blind herself just to get back at me.”
Now, Bianca understood.
Isabella had faked her blindness before, all part of a scheme against Natalle.
But this level of deception, especially when it had nothing to do with Cedric anymore, was indeed perplexing.
So, what was the reason?
She’s a wolf in sheep’s clothing!”
Blanca couldn’t help but describe Isabella this way after thinking of many other phrases. However, she
became curious
zam did Isabella hate about Natalie?
To hate someone to the extent of self–mutilation?
Natalie nodded, “She’s too ruthless. I can’t outplay her.”
Previously, she had thought about how to fight back. Now, she realized that even a slight retaliation
resulted in Isabella truly harming herself. If she continued fighting back, Isabella might even throw her life
away.
“She’s too ruthless!”
What kind of hatred was this?
If it wasn’t extreme hatred, why go to such lengths?
Whenever something happened to Isabella, Cedric would immediately take her side and disregard his wife of ten years.
Metalle had no idea when the air in Verde City became so suffocating
