Chapter 175 Stephen Was Quite Domineering
Just after hanging up Stephen’s call, Natalie received another call from an unfamiliar number.
When she answered, she found it was the detective agency Karina had recommended before.
“Hello,” Natalie said.
“Ms. Walker, we found what you were looking for.”
“Send it to my email.”
“Alright.”
Upon hearing that what she wanted had been found, a cold glint flashed in Natalie’s eyes. She hung up the
phone, opened her computer, and opened her email.
She examined its contents. As she was reading, the same unfamiliar number called her again.
“Is it just a photo?” Natalie asked.
“It’s one of the people involved in Ms. Morgan’s kidnapping.”
One of them?
She had asked before, but Isabella had said everyone was dead.
“Is this person still alive?”
“Yes.”
“Where is he now?”
“He’s at Sea City in Glacial.”
That was so far away!
The photo’s background was a snow–covered area around a glacier, indicating that the climate there wasn’t good. The photo was captured from surveillance footage. It was evident that finding this person wouldn’t be easy
“What should we do now? The person on the other end of the line asked when Natalie remained silent.
Natalie glanced at the photo. “See if you can obtain photos of him in contact with Isabella or Christina.
“Alright, but regarding the cost…!”
“Don’t worry.
The price is not an issue as long as you find what I need.”
Stephen used to tell her not to be petty!
When he had helped her look into Isabella, he already felt that Natalie was being childish. He felt that those things were not worth investigating.
In Stephen’s view, investigating such things was a waste of time. Even responding to those people’s
tactics was a waste of time.
The best counterattack against them was to always stand at a higher position and look down on their
clownish methods.
But Natalie was well aware that these clowns were even more troublesome. Even if she didn’t respond to
them, they would do
lose things t
her.
They were relentless in the shadows.
The only way to get rid of them was to press these people into the mud so they couldn’t climb up again.
Between Natalie and Isabella…
Isabella wished to bury Natalie in the mud, and Natalie was not even willing to acknowledge her
existence!
After work in the evening, Cedric came to pick up Natalie. They went to Scarlet Villa together, and dinner
was already prepared in the kitchen.
It was all still Natalie’s favorite dishes, but simpler than before. Cedric knew she didn’t like extravagance.
“How is it? Does it suit your taste?” he asked.
“Yeah, it’s not bad,” Natalie replied calmly, eating her food with the same calm demeanor.
Observing Natalie’s calm demeanor, Cedric raised an eyebrow and asked, “Did Stephen call you?”
Yeah
“Is he still coming?”
At his words, Natalie’s mood became somewhat unstable. Though she seemed calm, Cedric deliberately
brought it up.
She put down the utensils in her hands and looked at Cedric. “Stop doing anything to Regal Horizons.”
“What do you think will make me stop?” Cedric responded.
“If you insist on compensation for those two projects, tell me which two plots of land in Verde City you.
have your eyes on. I’ll try to get them for you!”
“Do you think any of the two plots in Verde City are as valuable as the eastern suburb?”
“So, this matter will go on indefinitely?”
“Not exactly.”
“Then what do you want?”
Her powerful uncle was now abroad and locked out from Verde City. She still didn’t know how Cedric had done it, and he kept stirring up trouble for Regal Horizon International’s headquarters.
A loud bang echoed as the spoon in her hand slammed onto the table, shattering a wine glass.
The niece of the Regal Horizons International Chairman is also the designated heiress of the group You’re wealthy, influential, and quite sturdy!
They needed to discuss how many times they were going to do it!
