A Divorce After My Rebirth novel Chapter 480

At this moment, Cedric was at a loss for words.

"Is there anything else? If not, I have matters to attend to," Natalie said, swiftly opening the car door.

But just as she was about to step out, Cedric grabbed her wrist.

Casting a sidelong glance, Natalie asked, "What is it?"

"Don't let Clyde's people continue looking into this," Cedric finally voiced out!

The way Natalie had reappeared in Wexford had done more than just create trouble for Cedric and Irwin.

There were many unresolved matters... like the root of Irwin's manipulation of her and the true reason Cedric had approached her all those years ago!

Given the current situation, Natalie couldn't naively believe that Cedric had fallen for her at first sight.

Perhaps under the hydrangea tree on campus, she had caught his eye.

But...!

The real reason might not be as simple as that!

"Are you willing to tell me yourself?" Natalie turned back with a gentle smile, but the softness of it only heightened Cedric's sense of danger.

The determination in her eyes was evident.

Clyde's people were good. Undoubtedly, they would be able to get to the bottom of this matter if they continued looking into it.

That person didn't think the past event was a glorious involvement, so his identity and existence were erased from the records.

However, many were still aware of it. Even if no one in Wexford had mentioned it for years, traces of the truth persisted.

Feeling the tightening grip on her wrist, Natalie instinctively reacted. She couldn't believe there wasn't a deeper reason behind all this.

"Nat!" As Natalie pulled her wrist from Cedric's firm grasp, he called out once more.

Indeed, she loathed Irwin's manipulation and Cedric's attitude toward their relationship.

And so, she had arrived in Wexford and ultimately was entangled in the mess of this place.

Natalie turned to face Cedric, her lips curling into a menacing smile. "What if I want Kayla?"

Cedric fell silent. His blood seemed to freeze in that instant.

Her eyes shone like brilliant stars, but her words were laden with danger.

"Would you give her to me?"

Seeing Cedric's instantly stiff expression, Natalie's smirk widened. Gradually, a chilling sense of danger appeared brightly in her eyes.

Cedric tried to form words, but under her icy demeanor, nothing came out.

Seeing his reaction, Natalie scoffed. "See? You can't even do that!"
