A Divorce After My Rebirth novel Chapter 485

"Do you know Ms. Schneider?" Irwin asked as his grip on Natalie tightened.

Natalie tilted her head slightly, but the man's grip grew even firmer.

"Let go!" she exclaimed.

"Natalie."

"Yes, I know her!" Natalie cut straight to the point.

Irwin took a sharp breath, his gaze deepening as he looked at Natalie.

Seizing the moment when Irwin was momentarily distracted, Natalie slipped her hand out of his grasp and moved to the side.

"How did you two meet?" Irwin asked.

Associating with people from the Schneider family wasn't a very well-received act in Wexford. It was as if merely knowing someone from that family would bring misfortune.

Yet Natalie, once a homemaker, actually knew them?

And no one had known?

How?!

"Does Abigail know about the missing half of the documents?" Irwin asked.

"Mr. Frazier!" Natalie's tone grew heavy, her eyes reflecting a hint of sarcasm. "Are you asking if Abigail knows about the widely known missing documents?"

Irwin fell silent, stunned.

Indeed!

The whole world now knew that the missing half of the documents was in his and Cedric's possession. For years, neither knew about the other's copy.

Yet Natalie... The storm in her eyes was unmistakable!

A long silence passed between them, but the atmosphere remained tense.

Irwin looked at the woman before him, suddenly realizing just how deeply Natalie had been involved. There were sides to her that he and perhaps even Cedric had never truly understood.

"Abigail... was she your first scheme since arriving in Wexford?" he questioned.

"Would I need to do such a thing?" Natalie replied sarcastically.

Indeed, Abigail didn't require any of Natalie's manipulations to become entangled in this mess.

Irwin's emotions surged like a stormy sea. Over the years, no one had ever been able to influence his emotions. Yet now, facing this seemingly delicate woman...

He took a deep breath, his voice laden with gravity. "Whatever your intentions are, stop them now."

Yes, stop.

Clearly, her arrival in Wexford had a purpose, and this was just the beginning.

The Schneider family was indeed a grand "gift" Natalie had given Cedric.

Irwin's mind felt like a storm had taken hold of it. But after the chaos settled, he pulled Natalie close to him.

"Now, how do you think I'll get out of this predicament?"

Indeed, it was a predicament.

Natalie's move had trapped him, hadn't it?

Irwin had to admit that this seemingly simple woman was quite the troublemaker.

"Announce that I'm not your fiancee? Why don't you try that? I've already handled the Schneider family for you."
