A Divorce After My Rebirth novel Chapter 509

As Irwin had mentioned, Cedric was currently in a state of anxiety because of the Schneider family!

His study was dimly lit, and he smoked one cigarette after another. Lucas stood nearby. Even in the muted lighting, his grave expression was evident.

Just moments ago, Lucas had reported that Natalie and Irwin were no longer in Wexford, and their current location was unknown.

"Their whereabouts are unknown?!" Cedric bit out the words, the weight of the situation evident in his tone.

That fateful evening, upon learning of Casey's discoveries, they had rushed to the scene, but they were too late. Before Casey's arrival, Irwin had already spirited Natalie away.

Where had they gone?

It was a mystery to everyone!

It was hard to fathom how, in such dire circumstances, Irwin could disappear for an entire week.

What was Irwin's motive for getting close to Natalie? Cedric knew better than anyone else.

Back in Verde City and Simeria, he and Stephen had been around to handle things.

But now…

What was Irwin's plan?

"Could it be that Mr. Frazier is concerned Casey might leak information to Madam?"

Lucas's anxiety was palpable. He was well aware of the dynamics surrounding Cedric. Every time he saw Natalie and Irwin interact, he sensed the looming danger!

Cedric's eyes darkened at the thought.

If Irwin could spirit Natalie away amidst the chaos in Wexford, then surely things were more complicated than they appeared!

His phone flashed as he dialed Irwin's number repeatedly.

After a long time, Irwin finally answered, "What, can't contain yourself any longer?"

"Irwin, what exactly are you planning?" Cedric's voice was laced with restrained anger.

Irwin retorted, "Planning?

"After all these years, she remains innocent!" Each word Cedric uttered was heavy, laced with a veiled warning.

"Natalie is innocent," Irwin said. "But she was also innocent..."

Irwin wasn't talking about Natalie in the latter part of his sentence...!
