Chapter 51 Good News
Natalie turned to look at Cedric, who was still holding Isabella in his arms.
Isabella… She didn’t appear flustered at all, despite being exposed.
She remained calmly nestled in Cedric’s embrace.
When Natalie had lunged at her, Cedric had already set her down. However, he still had one arm wrapped around her, protecting her.
The irony of the situation wasn’t lost on anyone.
Cedric was momentarily frozen. He glanced at his own hand and then at Natalie. The guilt that briefly crossed his eyes was quickly concealed.
What remained was a warning and disappointed look directed at Natalie.
And as for Natalie….
“How many times does this make?” Natalie asked.
Cedric’s tone was icy. “You’re becoming more and more unruly,”
“Hah!”
Unruly, huh?
At this moment, Cedric bore a strikingly similar image to his father. This was how his father usually spoke
to Rebecca.
All men from the Johnson family were the same.
What was a woman to them?
Natalie had thought that Cedric was different than them. She had thought he was an exception.
Ultimately, it seemed that the apple didn’t fall too far from the tree.

When they had a falling out, Cedric was suddenly as oppressive as the head of the family. Everyone had
to listen to him, and everyone else was wrong.
“Cedric, you disgust me,” Natalie said, turning around and walking away.
She no longer wanted to see him.
How many times has it been now?
Natalie had also lost count.
She had forgotten how many times this man had slapped her because of Isabella.
Was he disappointed in her?
No, he didn’t have the right
She was even more disappointed in him.
“Stop right there!” Cedric shouted at Natalie.
He was about to chase after her, but Isabella fainted in his arms.

Natalie left the hospital in a daze.
Standing under the night sky, she shivered when the cold wind swept over her. She was wearing thin
clothing, and the chill seemed to penetrate deep into her bones
But this was nothing compared to the chill in her heart.
It also didn’t even compare to the coldness Cedric had brought into her life.
She pulled out her phone with shaky hands and called Bianca, who picked up quickly. When Natalie greeted her, her voice was filled with helplessness.
On the other end of the line, Bianca was taken aback by Natalie’s tone.
“Where are you?”
“I’m… at the hospital.”
“Are you injured? Stay where you are! I’m on my way!”
With that, Bianca abruptly ended the call. She didn’t even ask which hospital Natalie was at.
Clearly, Bianca was also panicked.
When the call ended, Natalie looked up at the night sky filled with dark clouds. Tears welled up in her eyes, but she forced them back down.
Perhaps even the heavens pitied her.
Soon rain began to pour
When Bianca arrived, she saw Natalie standing in the rain, her whole body drenched. Her appearance was
so heart wrenching that it sent shivers down anyone’s spine
“Nat!” Bianca got out of her car and rushed toward her. She took off her coat and wrapped it around
Natalie
Then, she scolded Natalie, “What are you doing? Are you trying to get yourself killed?”
Natalie’s health wasn’t good, and her body surely couldn’t endure being soaked in the rain like this.
Natalie looked at Bianca
Her face was wet, and it was hard to tell if it was rain or tears. The tears she had tried to hold back.
seemed to have finally escaped.
“Where’s Cedric?” Bianca asked, probably aware of why Natalie was there.
Instead of answering, Natalie simply stared blankly at Bianca.
If even Bianca wasn’t there for her…
Would they have succeeded in driving Natalie to her death at this moment?
In a choked voice, she replied, “He’s inside.”
“Did he bring you here?”
“How many times has he hit you for that wretched woman?”
They had done what they came to do, so Bianca wanted Natalie to rest. It was already past two in the
