Bianca just stared at Yvette with cold and unyielding eyes.
Yvette didn't seem to feel any pressure from Bianca's gaze. She simply said, "If you truly love him, you should know what's best for him at this moment."
"The first time I met you, I thought you were quite mature!" Bianca suddenly remarked.
Yvette fell silent.
Mature?
No matter what Yolanda said back at the gathering, Yvette remained silent.
But looking back, perhaps it was simply because Yvette didn't know how to refute the older woman's words.
Once given the chance to rebut, her words could be sharper than anyone's.
Yvette continued to gaze coldly at Bianca. Then, she took a deep breath and said, "I don't want to make things difficult for you. Don't force my hand, okay?"
Force her hand?!
That was quite a statement.
Bianca just continued to stare coldly at Yvette.
Yvette took another deep breath. "You're not from Simeria. You don't understand what's brewing beneath the surface here."
"..."
"Why get hurt for no reason?"
Since being tough on Bianca didn't work, Yvette tried going for a softer method instead!
But perhaps Yvette didn't know what Bianca's job was or what she detested the most.
Even though Bianca had a certain relationship with Zane, being provoked like this still left a bitter taste in her mouth.
"You're too full of yourself!" Bianca finally retorted.
Some things change!
Especially a person's heart.
Yet, Yvette seemed oblivious to this fact. She kept insisting and stubbornly believing otherwise.
"So, you won't sign it?" Yvette asked, and her gaze turned colder.
