A Divorce After My Rebirth novel Chapter 654

If it weren't for Blair... everything that happened in the past would have been emotional pain she should have borne alone.

But with Blair in the picture, it changed everything.

Because of Blair, she got entangled in Irwin and Cedric's mess.

How could she forgive that?

"You've ruined my life completely! And now you want me to forgive myself and let go of everything?"

Irwin fell silent.

"Hah... forgive myself?!"

They were ruthless to her!

And in the end, they even expected her to forgive herself?!

How ridiculous their thoughts were!

It was not just ridiculous.

It was downright hateful!

Irwin was silent, and his already pale face turned even paler now.

They couldn't let it go.

Neither Natalie nor Cedric could let it go now.

It was agonizing.

Irwin hadn't mentioned going back to Simeria, obviously waiting for Cedric to come and pick up Natalie. However, two days passed, and Cedric didn't show up.

Finally, a message arrived.

[Take her to the hospital we agreed on!]

The hospital they agreed on! It was the one he and Cedric had agreed upon in the study before.

Did Cedric... decide to stick by his decision after all?

Irwin's hand shook as he held his phone.

When Dylan came in, he saw Irwin dressed in a black coat with a gray scarf. He looked elegant yet emitted a sense of desolation.

It was evident that everything that happened during this time had caused a drastic change in Irwin's heart.

"Sir."

Irwin snapped out of his thoughts and looked at Dylan. At that moment, his eyes were filled with turmoil. He wanted to say something, but he couldn't find the words.

Cedric, he...!

Perhaps he had also sensed it, right?

Everything that happened between him and Natalie had gone too far to turn back now.

So, he was giving her everything.

Finally, Irwin said, "Dylan."

"Yes, sir."

"Prepare to go to Yonwood City!"

Dylan fell silent.

Yonwood City!

In the end, it had come to this?

For three whole months, Natalie's treatment with Edward's medicine had no effect.

So, was it necessary to resort to surgery now?

"Yes, sir." Dylan nodded without saying anything else.

He knew that ever since Irwin learned about Blair and his grandfather, he had been tormented. But regardless of the torment, they had reached this point and had to face it.

They were finally leaving.

"What's the name of this courtyard?"

As Irwin pushed her into the yard, Natalie suddenly asked the question.

The road was made with bluetones, and they emitted a unique fragrance.

"People who live here year-round must feel very happy," Natalie suddenly said.

"Why do you say that?" Irwin asked.

"This is the city center, right? Yet it's filled with the scent of nature everywhere."

That was the rarest thing there was.

Irwin fell silent, his eyes revealing a hint of bitterness. Apparently, her perception of scents had become so sensitive that it surpassed what any sighted person could experience.

In the darkness, she possessed her unique perception of the world.

"Nat, don't try so hard to perceive things, okay?" Irwin said with a bitter tone.

The more she revealed this side of herself, the more unpleasant it felt in his heart.

It's all because of the darkness! Because she had been in the dark for so long, she made an effort to perceive everything within it.

"You will be able to see soon."

Irwin wasn't sure if he was saying this for Natalie's sake or to comfort himself. But whatever it was, he was feeling the most uncomfortable at the moment, especially with Natalie's silence, which intensified the tension in the darkness.

-

An hour later, they arrived at the airport. Natalie sensed that the further they got from that little courtyard, the tenser Irwin became.

They had a private plane. After completing the procedures, Irwin pushed her through the private channel onto the plane. Once aboard, the world quieted down.

"Have some water," Irwin said.

He was considerate and offered her a cup with a straw. Because she couldn't see, a normal cup was almost useless to her.

In any case, since she fell into darkness, all dangerous things around her had been kept at a distance.

"Thank you," Natalie said calmly.

"No need for that," Irwin replied.

Regardless of how much effort he put into her, she deserved it all.
