A Flash Marriage Can Be A Treasure novel Chapter 433

Leigh minds Jessie who is in his arms and lowers his voice, "Linda?"

The person replies, "Yes. Linda is dead. Her mother browsed her school website, saw the videos and died in the operating room. Linda couldn't stand it, so she climbed up to the top floor of her group and jumped off."

Leigh says indifferently, "Is there anything else?"

"The news of Linda's suicide has provoked much discussion. Need I deal with it?"

Leigh sneers, "There is no need. All people in her family are dead. Nothing will happen. Is there anything else? If not, get out of my hair."

He puts his phone back on the night table, pulls Jessie into his arms and covers the quilt.

The bedroom is quiet.

About an hour later, Jessie, who is in Leigh's arms, opens her eyes slowly after she hears Leigh's smooth breathing.

Jessie moves his arms gently and waits for a few minutes. After confirming that he hasn't woken up, she pulls his hands away carefully and leaves his embrace bit by bit.

She walks barefoot around the bed, picks up his phone on the night table and sneaks into the bathroom.

She walks into the bathroom, locks the door and unlocks his phone as she walks towards the ventilation window.

She tries twice and unlocks his phone easily.

Jessie checks the balance of Leigh's bank card and tries his previous password. Noticing that the password is still the same as before, she calls someone and waits there anxiously.

After a long time, the person answers the phone, "Hello?"

"Uncle, it's me." Jessie tries her best to calm down so that her uncle won't feel suspicious.

Her uncle asks, "Jessie, where are you? When I went to your company to look for you, they said that you had resigned. I saw the news a few months ago that YX Group's president was dead. Did you...?"

Jessie says, "Yes. They are all dead. I have avenged my sister and my parents' death."

"You haven't answered me. Where are you?"

Jessie pretends to be relaxed and says, "I'm fine. I'm busy working abroad. I'm too busy to bring my phone. I borrow my friend's phone to call you."

Her uncle is puzzled and asks, "Are you abroad? Why is this phone number from Country Z?"

"My friend's phone number is from Country Z. I'm calling internationally." Jessie is afraid that he will suspect her, so she changes the topic, "I have helped you and aunt get visas to Country R. I'll transfer 500,000 to you. Pack up your things and take aunt to visit Country R. When I'm available, I'll look for you."

"What's the matter? Why do you arrange us to travel abroad? Jessie, are you alright?"

Jessie smiles and says, "I'm fine. Since everything is settled, I'd like to send you to travel abroad to relax. So that's the deal. Take aunt abroad. If I go to look for you, I'll call you."

Before her uncle replies, Jessie hangs up the phone and blocks her uncle to prevent him from calling back.

She transfers Leigh's 500,000 to her uncle and waits quietly.

After she transfers the money, she deletes the records and checks it again. After confirming that there are no omissions, she turns off his phone.

Jessie walks out of the bathroom and puts his phone back on the night table quietly.

When she lifts the quilt and goes to bed, Leigh pulls her back into his arms.

Jessie is so scared that she looks at him. Noticing that he isn't awake, she lets out a sigh of relief and her heart still beats fast.

Leigh is no longer the Leigh she knows. He is temperamental and crazy.

She will keep an eye on him and stop him venting his anger on her uncle and aunt.

As long as they aren't in Yorkshire, Leigh can do nothing.
