Staring at Lily's figure, Sofia is still shocked.
She sees Lily speak to the woman in the shop, kiss her and walk out while saying. "Mom, you can cook the porridge first. I'll have it later!"
Seeing Lily walking towards the elevator, Sofia quickly turns around and hides behind the bulletin.
She pokes her head out secretly.
Wearing a pair of light brown flats, Lily walks slowly and carefully. On the elevator, she carefully holds the armrest.
Sofia suddenly becomes alert, and decides something in her mind.
It's a workday, but Lily is wearing casual clothes and flat shoes and walking so carefully. She must be pregnant.
Is it Louis' child?
Can it be Louis' child? Recently, Louis is calm and unperturbed. He still handles affairs every day. She also learns from David that he hasn't seen much of Lily lately.
Is there a misunderstanding between them, so Lily doesn't tell Louis about the child?
Women are naturally sensitive.
After Sofia thinks about it, she thinks of the newspaper about Louis and is sure that something has happened between him and Lily.
That's why Lily doesn't tell Louis about her pregnancy.
"Fortunately, there is a misunderstanding between them. Otherwise, it will be difficult." Sofia secretly heaves a sigh of relief.
If Louis knows about the child, he will definitely find a way to reconcile with Lily.
After a while, Sofia looks up at the shop.
David is very busy today. When he learns that she is going to deliver the documents, he asks her to deliver something here for him.
If she didn't happen to see her today, she wouldn't know that the shopkeeper is Lily's mother.
Sofia walks into the shop with her things in hand. Outside the door, a woman wearing a light purple dress suddenly stands up and goes in to say something to Daisy. The two of them look very familiar with each other.
She frowns slightly.
She remembers that when she returned to the Smith Group with David, David answered a phone and ran to the car on the roadside. He said something to the person inside. Seemed it was this woman.
Later, she tentatively asked who this woman was. David only said that she was a client of the Smith Group.
Is the client of the Smith Group so familiar with Lily's mother?
While Sofia is thinking about it, that woman is already at the store's entrance.
She quickly smiles politely and walks to Daisy. "May I ask if you are Daisy?"
Daisy looks at her curiously, "I am. Can I help you?"
"I'm Sofia from the Smith Group." Sofia announces her name and delivers the thing in her hand. "David is very busy today. He asks me to come over and give this to you."
"I told him that I didn't need it, but he still sent you here. Thanks a lot." Daisy nags as she brings the thing over. "You should be tired. I'll get you some water."
Sofia does not intend to leave. Hearing Daisy say that, she smiles and nods. "Thanks."
"You're welcome."
Daisy waves and quickly pours a cup of water.
Sofia thanks her and takes it, but doesn't drink it.
She looks around the shop and the dishes on the shelves. She smiles and says, "I often come to Ole Supermarket. I hear that your dishes and home-brewed red wine are very good. I always want to buy some, but every time I pass by, it is very crowded here."
Daisy says, "I left some for my daughter, but she won't come home for dinner tonight. I'll give it to you."
Her daughter has the right to date whoever she wants, and she can't interfere too much as a mother.
However, Daisy feels a little embarrassed when the mother of her daughter's ex-fiancé is here and hears everything.
Sofia thinks that Daisy feels embarrassed because an outsider is present.
Sofia pretends to be inadvertent. "I also heard some gossip from others that Mr. Heller Hodge and Mr. Smith are half-brothers. I don't know what Ms. Lily thinks about it."
"What?" Daisy is dumbfounded.
Lily does not tell her about John's relationship with Louis. Scarlett intentionally avoids that part of the past and does not tell her.
Daisy is a complete outsider to this matter, so she is shocked to hear Sofia's words.
Daisy subconsciously wants to call Lily and ask her what is going on.
After a few seconds, she remembers that Louis’ mother is here. Why should she call her?
Daisy looks at Scarlett and stutters, "Scarlett, you, you have another son?"
What?
Sofia hears Daisy ask Scarlett like this and thinks about her words carefully. Her gentle smile freezes.
"No." Scarlett coldly denies.
Sofia quickly comes to herself and apologizes to Scarlett, "I'm sorry, I didn't know you...."
"Don't be so scheming at such a young age." Scarlett interrupts her and looks at her with contempt. "Don't pretend to be nice while saying such vicious words just because you are kind."
"I've never thought of it that way." Sofia condescends and says softly, "I didn't mean it."
