When Lily hears that, she instantly understands that someone was interfering in it and has tried to prevent Danica from coming back.

They don't want Danica to testify for her in court.

To think about what has happened in the detention room, Lily can guess the person behind it and says, "I see. Help me call Miss Gibson back and thank her for rushing back for me. Tell her she can go back now, because I'm fine now."

The private detective does not reply immediately this time.

After keeping quiet for a whole minute, the private detective hinted Lily, "Ms. Lily, I'm just doing this to make a living. I don't want to risk everything I have for my work."

"I know, but I won't let you take that big a risk."

On her way to the company, Lily has already made a plan. She says, "Just go to do your investigation, and I'll handle the other things. I will also help you obtain the citizenship of Country Y in addition to paying you with money."
