Izzy’s POY.

“Izzy, the girl you pointed out, is Lucy” She explains what our new Pack–members went through in their 

old Pack. 

“Is she not happy here?” I ask. Dagmar is quiet for a few minutes and then we hear a soft knock on the 

door. 

Dagmar gets up to let the person on the other side in, itis Lucy and I feel the need to hug her. I go with my gut and as I hug her. I tell her that I will be there if she ever needs me. 

“Lucy, can you tell us what is going on? I have noticed a chance ever since last night” Dagmar asks gently. 

I hold her hand, hoping to put her at ease. She looks from Dagmar to Jenna and then to me. “I think my Mate is going to reject me.” She whispers. 

“Lucy, why do you think that? Did he say something along those lines?” I ask as I put my arm around her. She shakes her head and tells us that he had taken a few steps towards her before turning around and walking away. 

Evie is getting pissed and I have to work hard to calm her down “Erie, stop it. Either you will scare her or you will make Jordan kick down the door. Ife can do without both those things.“I say sternly. 

“Lucy, who is your Mate?” Jenna asks. “I didn’t know at first, I found out when you asked him to bring the prisoners to the dungeons.” Lucy is looking at me as she answers Jenna. 

“But he was there, at your old Pack during the Full Moon.” Jenna replies at her statement. We are puzzled and I hate to ask my following question. 

“Did you find out then or last night?” She drops her head at my question and for a moment I fear she won’t answer me. I put my index finger under her chin and push her face up, making her look at me. 

I pull her in to my arms and decide to give her time. To let her decide what to do, forcing the issue won’t do us any good. And I want her to know that she can trust me. 

“Princess, are you okay?” I hear Jordan ask in my head. tell him that I am fine, but that we need some time with Lucy. “I will explain everything later.” 

“Daniel.” I hear her say softly. “We found out at my old Pack.” 

I want to jump up and knock some sense in to the idiot, but I don’t want to upset Luce any further. So I ask if she talked to him after that. “Every time he sees me, he walks away.” 

“Lucy, do you want Daniel as your Mate?” I ask and she nods her head. “Do you want me to knock some sense in to him?” She giggles at my words, but shakes her head. 

“Too bad.” Jenna says. “I would have liked to see the look on his face when she punched his lights out.” I chuckle at her words. 

We talk to Lucy about what she wants and she makes it clear that she wants to know why he is avoiding her and if he is going to reject her.

“Will you stay with me? I don’t know if I can handle what he might have to say.” I tell her that I am going to leave her with my Fathers and that they will be there to help her. 

I link them as we exit the office and make our way back to the living–room. My Father is already there to lead her towards his Mate and I make a bee–line for Daniel. 

“Have you lost your fucking mind?” 1 growl as I am standing in front of him. Carlos and Donnie step back as soon as they realize I am gunning for Daniel.. 

“Are you planning on avoiding her for the rest of your life or are you going to reject her?” Evie has pushed forward and she is growling at him. His face turns pale as my words sink in. 

Everyone stopped talking and I can hear his heartbeat racing in his chest. His eyes go from left to right until they find what they are looking for.
