A Life Beyond Limits novel Chapter 219

Wesley eagerly began his storytelling.

"Oh, you've brought up a topic I actually know a lot about! That Route 2 bus? I used to take it to school every single day.

"That criminal was really something. Even a few grown men couldn't get close to him. But in the end, he was taken down by an incredibly skilled veteran."

As Wesley spoke, he made exaggerated gestures as if he had witnessed everything firsthand.

"A veteran? But I heard it was a student who stopped the attack," Phoebe questioned, finding Wesley's version different from what she had heard.

Wesley shook his head vigorously. "Trust me, it wasn't a student. Think about it. How could a student possibly take down someone like that? That criminal was terrifying!"

Phoebe thought about it for a moment and found his reasoning somewhat logical.

Although she had heard from multiple firsthand accounts that the hero who saved the passengers was a student preparing for the college entrance exam, it did seem improbable.

How could a frail student possibly defeat a ruthless, armed attacker?

So, she decided to drop the subject.

Jack, however, found the discussion awkward. After all, who could know the truth better than him? But he had no intention of continuing the conversation, so he quickly changed the topic.

"Feena, tell us about your life at Eirene Music Academy."

Wesley's interest was piqued immediately. "Oh, yes! Feena, are there many beauties at your academy? Introduce us to a few! We're already sophomores, but we're still single!"

Feena rolled her eyes at Wesley. "Just look at my two roommates today—that should tell you enough about that."
