Ray immediately expressed his agreement. He said, "My place isn't far from yours, Bella. Can I go over to see you if I ever have the time? I'd like to discuss some education-related matters with you."
He was blatantly trying to steal Bella from Jack. However, she couldn't exactly say no because he was using their studies as an excuse.
Still, she glanced at Jack before shaking her head. "We can talk about that some other time."
Ray refused to give up. "You know, I know some of Alnewgo University's presidential-level student council members and many people from the Entrepreneurs Association. You can always come to me for help if you run into trouble on campus. I'm sure throwing the Entrepreneurs Association's weight around will make dealing with things on campus much easier."
He looked smug at the mention of the Entrepreneurs Association. After all, everyone at Alnewgo University knew what a prestigious establishment it was.
Arianna added, "I've heard of the association, too. Its members are all accomplished entrepreneurs—many of them have obtained venture capital and have already become proper businessmen or women."
Clarice nodded, indicating her understanding and approval of the Entrepreneurs Association. In reality, many of the entrepreneurs who now held power in Alnewgo's business world had graduated from Alnewgo University. They'd also experienced being members of the Entrepreneurs Association.
In other words, one would already be halfway to success upon joining the association.
Just then, another woman named Michelle Green spoke up, not wanting to seem inadequate. "My son, Hunter, is doing pretty well, too. He's studying at the University of Political Science and Law and is on the class committee. He's also part of the student council and gets scholarships every year."
