A Life Beyond Limits novel Chapter 35

Although Phoebe never denied that Jack was a clever person, she believed there was no way he could be here.

Sure, miracles happened. But considering the billions of people in the world, the probability of a miracle was almost nonexistent.

Based on Jack's academic performance, it seemed impossible for him to gain admission to one of the nation's top five universities no matter how hard he worked.

The thought was too absurd.

While Phoebe sat in the cafe, lost in thought, Jack returned to his dormitory with Isaac after regaining his composure.

Isaac couldn't stop talking, eagerly asking Jack for tips on how to execute a dunk like the one he had just performed. He wanted to know how to end the game with the same flair and confidence.

Standing at 6'3", Isaac could dunk, but he couldn't pull off the kind of awe-inspiring dunk that Jack had just achieved. If he could execute a dunk like that, surrounded by cheering girls, it would be the epitome of cool.

While responding to Isaac's questions, Jack's mind kept returning to the beautiful face he had seen under the court lights.

The person was so beautiful and gentle. He was certain it was Phoebe.

But Jack held back his excitement and didn't approach her.

After all, Phoebe was admired by everyone. Every day, countless men surrounded her, fighting for her attention. If Jack wanted to leave a lasting impression on her, he needed to do something unforgettable.

Today wasn't the right time. No matter how much he wanted to approach her, he forced himself to wait for the perfect moment that would make Phoebe see him in a whole new light.

As time passed, the weather grew colder, and the leaves on campus trees began to fall. It was now late autumn.
