A Life Beyond Limits novel Chapter 431

Quintis held Emily's hand tightly.

Even he, who was usually so reserved, had tears of excitement streaming down his face. He pulled Emily into his arms, and together, they wept.

After the initial wave of joy, Emily choked back her sobs and said, "Quintis, I can't wait any longer! I've never felt this excited or hopeful in my life.

"Quintis, let's skip the DNA test. Tomorrow, come with me to Alnewgo University, okay? We'll find out which class he's in and where he lives. I need to ask him face-to-face.

"If he knows I'm his mother, why has he never tried to find us all these years? Doesn't he know how much I've missed him? How much pain and tears I've shed because of him?"

The facts were laid out before them. All the evidence pointed to one truth.

But Quintis firmly rejected her idea.

The current evidence was based solely on his and Emily's assumptions. Even though everything seemed to align, it was still unproven.

They couldn't be absolutely certain that Jack was their son.

Confronting him directly would be too abrupt. If he was Nicholas, such a sudden approach could alarm him—or worse, drive him away.

Besides, there were signs that Jack already knew who they were. If they appeared suddenly, he might retreat and disappear from their lives once again.

Their past was marred by intense conflict. Any reconciliation would be exceedingly difficult.

There was a risk of losing him again, perhaps forever.

For now, questioning him outright could only end in disaster.

After much thought, they quickly devised a plan.

The top priority was to obtain Jack's blood sample for a paternity test. It was the most direct and crucial piece of evidence.

At the same time, they needed to send someone to Perthter City for an in-depth investigation. If possible, they would gather information from Jack's adoptive parents.
