Jack had brought Samuel to the infirmary to get an IV drip, which proved that the two of them shared a close bond. The tears that had stopped briefly earlier continued to flow down Emily's cheeks. Her eyes were filled with motherly affection as she stared at Jack, making Jack feel extremely uncomfortable.

No matter how much Jack tried to calm himself, he couldn't control the goosebumps that erupted all over his skin from her intense gaze. Not in the mood to deal with her, Jack ignored Emily and brought Samuel into the infirmary for his IV drip.
