A Life Debt Repaid novel (John and Cordy) novel Chapter 682

Cordy assured Dicky. "Don't worry. You'll definitely grow very tall."

"Yeah!" Dicky nodded. "I'll definitely become taller than Lucas.”

Cordy was left speechless, since that might be unnecessary.

What if he got taller than six feet? That would make getting a girlfriend harder.

Nonetheless, her feigned composure crumbled after Dicky left.

It had been an unpleasant day, after all.

Early next morning, someone knocked on Cordy's door.

She opened it to find Sean standing at the doorway, looking a little tired.

Had he just returned from the hospital? What about Nana?

"Sorry to wake you this early," he apologized, unaware that he was insomniac.

Come to think of it, Cordy had been forgetting to buy herself sleeping pills since she came to Cranson Hall. She basically hadn’t slept for days; technically, Sean wasn’t waking her up.

"How's Nana?" she asked bluntly.

"She's fine. She's not in any immediate danger," Sean said, and breathed a sigh of relief.
