At this point, Zoe would have to say yes even if it was not the case… but Jay was right anyway.
When it came to condiments, she hated mountain pepper and parsley, but it still puzzled her—she never had either anyway, so why would Jay know that she hated mountain pepper more?
Was it a wild guess?
Or perhaps…
She did recall taking part in a gourmet show and mentioning offhandedly about her stronger dislike for mountain pepper if she had to choose between the two.
Did he happen to watch that?
The man was so busy, but he had the time to sit through some pointless TV show?!
"Second question. How old was Zoe when she made her debut?"
"She was eighteen years, three months and fifteen days old," Jay answered without hesitation this time and without raising any flashcards.
The director did a double take. "That's… awfully precise."
"Yeah."
"Let me check," the director promptly whipped out his phone to check, since the answer he had was just up to eighteen years.
He had to cross-check between Zoe's birth date and her debut date, and Jay's answer turned out to be completely correct.
The director chuckled then. "You're answering too quickly, Jay. The audience might question this for being scripted."
"I can take my time for the next question." Jay smiled.
"Third question, who is Zoe's favorite star?"
Once again, same answer.
"Fourth question. What are the measurements of Zoe's bust, waist, and hip?"
"Before or at present?" Jay asked.
The director was actually stumped, and said begrudgingly, "The official measurements they have online."
"In that case, 81-60-90," Jay replied as if it could not be easier.
