Matteo 

The next morning, Alena and I were having breakfast in the kitchen when Luca came in by the front door. He had informed me about coming over but I didn’t expect him to arrive this quickly, he had only sent the text message around fifteen minutes ago, 

Luca walked into the kitchen and he went on his usual routine, grabbing a bottle of water from the fridge and a glass. He poured his water before he took a sip of his drink, drinking as if he hadn’t been drinking for days. 

Alena and I were staring at him but we didn’t say a word. 

He looked the same as always, visible dark circles under his eyes. Yet, he didn’t need another advice from me–it was bound to be the same nagging from before and he didn’t need to licarem every single day. He was an adult and he knew how to take better care of himself. 

I wasn’t his babysitter nor his caretaker. He was fine. 

“Good morning to you too,” I said, sarcastically. 

“Right, morning lovebirds.” He replied, sitting beside me before he glanced a few times at my scrambled eggs 

I slowly offered him a bite and he took it without hesitation. Instead of being satisfied with a taste, he decided to grab the whole plate and went on to eat my part. I couldn’t even be mad if I wanted to because I felt sorry whenever I looked at his face. 

Luca lived alone in his house, he didn’t have anyone. When we first met, I knew he was all by himself and it was easier to have him around because I didn’t have to worry about him losing any of his family members. However, as we got closer to each other as friends, I felt bad for him and his personal life. 

He didn’t love anyone either. He had his fair share of women in his bed but that was it. They were just his one night stands, only for his pleasure. None of those women cared genuinely about his feelings and he didn’t want them to; even if they tried. 

I knew a few women tried to get into his life and be a part of someone special but he pushed them all away because he truly believed he didn’t deserve anyone. He enjoyed going out to parties, drinking his night away and ended up in bed with a stranger. That was his way of reducing his stress until well, it took a toll on him. 

Nowadays, I saw him as an empty vessel. 

“I installed a tracker in your phone. That way, it’ll be easier to know your location even if the phone dies. Oh, there’s also one in your car. I had to work along with Alexei’s security system but it was all good,” Luca said to Alena. 

“Yeah, he had installed his before this.” My wife replied. 

My eyes wandered to Alena, seeing her enjoying her bowl of mixed fruits. I had prepared it for her because she needed to eat healthy again, regaining back her vitamins for herself and the baby. This time, we weren’t going to repeat the same mistakes we did during her first pregnancy, I wasn’t going to let her stress herself. 

Besides, ever since she was kidnapped, she had lost a lot of weight. This time, she needed to gain those weight back in order to carry a healthy baby–I had to prioritise her health more than anything else. 

Last night, her legs were spread apart and I was buried in between. I remembered tasting her sweet juices as I played with her full breasts, one of the moments I could never forget. I loved watching her moan and shake whenever I pleased her because I knew, I was the only one who could do that to her.

Sometinies, I had my moments where I zoned out and I thought of her.

Luca nodded, “I already set it all up for you.” 

“Great. Thanks, Luc.” 

“No problem.”

We stayed quiet for a little while as we enjoyed our meal or what was left of mine because Luca had eaten most of it. However, I mainly tried to focus on eating because I wanted to get rid of my erection–I didn’t want Luca to see it. If Alena and I were alone, I had probably grabbed her and placed her on the kitchen counter before I had my ways with her. 

Unfortunately, we weren’t alone and I needed to take a chill pill. 

“Why are you looking around like that?” I asked Luca, who had looked around for the past few minutes as if he was looking for something or more precisely, someone. 

“Nothing. I was just looking,” 

“Were you looking for Ana?” Alena asked, a smirk plastered on her face. 

“No. Why would I?” 

“Ana’s not here today but I can call her to come over if you want 

“That wouldn’t be necessary. Thanks,” he replied.

1 frowned as I watched him. It was a bit confusing because it was the first time I saw this ruthless man to be nervous, he had a flush of colour on his cheeks and I instantly knew he was blushing. Never in my entire life 1 had thought to witness this 

moment. 

“Fuck, man. Are you blushing?” I exclaimed, laughing. 

“What the hell are you talking about?” 

“No, your checks are red.” 

“Fuck off, Matteo.” 

Just like that, Luca stood up and walked out of the kitchen. The smirk didn’t leave my face even when he couldn’t see it but I saw the look Alena was giving me, she was smiling as well. 

“Mikhail would lose his mind if he gets another Italian in the family,” I 

uttered.
