A Love Torn by Time novel Chapter 31

Chapter 2

The next day at seven o’clock, Halley’s biological clock woke her up on time.

As she opened her eyes, she saw Bryan tidying up his shirt in front of the mirror.

His daily routine has always been upside down, suddenly waking up so early. In Hailey’s Impression, it was the first time.

He heard footsteps and turned around to see her. He asked her, Sister, is this outfit cool today?”

He was a natural clothes hanger, and any black shirt looked good on him on regular days. Today, he dressed up specially and looked even more handsome, to the point where there were no words to describe it. With just a lazy glance, he could captivate a group of young girls.

She didn’t know why he suddenly started paying so much attention to his appearance. In the past, she would have been mesmerized and her heart would have skipped a beat, but now she just nodded calmly and said, Hmm, looks handsome.

Bryan didn’t notice her strangeness and smirked, I had a party today, you stay at home obediently and wait for me to bring you dessert when I come back

After saying that, he turned around and left.

After watching his figure disappear, Hailey wanted to go pour herself a glass of water, but she noticed his phone left on the table.

When she picked it up, she accidentally pressed the power button.

The screen lit up, revealing a new message.

Person from the note Caroline.

Bry, it has been eight years since we last met. I am really looking forward to today’s gathering, how about you?

After seeing the news, Hailey’s footsteps came to a halt.

My first love returned to their home country today.

No wonder you got up so early, and even dressed up carefully, with a smile on your face.

The next second, the door was pushed open.

Bryan, who had tumed back halfway, suddenly came back and took away the phone. Before lewing, he quickly scanned the content on it, hesitated for a moment, and couldn’t help but glance at Hailey, who was having a meal.

Did you just look at my phone?

Hailey glanced up slightly, her gaze calm, No, what’s wrong?

He smiled, as if he had let out a sigh of relief, and said It’s nothingbefore turning around and leaving

This was the first time Halley suddenly found it a bit difficult to understand him.

He was always in love with his first love, and all the girlfriends he found were just substitutes for Caroline. In theory, he shouldn’t have cared about her at all, so why did he care if she had discovered the truth?

Was it afraid of losing her?

Hailey didn’t want to be presumptuous, let alone, she understood that losing was already a done deal.

After finishing breakfast, Halley sat in front of the computer and opened the

drawing software.
