A Man Like None Other novel Chapter 2431

Lamar had felt an overwhelming sense of danger the moment Divine Bow appeared. Powerless to defend against the arrow, he could only watch it approach him rapidly.

Following the noise of a loud explosion, the arrow radiated an even more foreboding aura. It seemed to encapsulate the force of heavenly thunder, which caused Lamar to be engulfed in turbulence. His body was met with tremendous force, and he flew backward.

Boom! Lamar crashed heavily to the ground and created a giant crater beneath him. Jared landed slowly and looked at Lamar without uttering a word.

Earlier, he could have shot Lamar dead with that arrow. The only reason he did not kill him was that he wanted to use the latter as a resource for cultivation. He wanted to absorb Lamar’s power to increase his own cultivation level. White as a sheet, Lamar slowly rose to his feet and looked at Jared in disbelief.

Even Chester and Wayne were looking at Jared in shock. Neither of them could have beaten Lamar. If they had the capability to do so, Lamar would not have been able to chase them out of the Gate of Fire. After witnessing Jared trouncing Lamar, Chester and Wayne knew for a fact that Jared was far stronger than either of them.

The Divine Bow in Jared’s hand, especially, filled them with awe. The moment Jared took it out, the intimidating aura it emitted had even Chester and Wayne trembling.

They were lucky to be on the same side as Jared. If they were enemies with him, he would have been able to send them to meet their maker by using Divine Bow alone. “What is that bow, Mr. Chance? How can it be so strong?” Wayne asked Jared curiously.

“This is Divine Bow. I guess it’s considered a divine weapon. I can only harness a tenth of its power right now. If I could find a way to harness it fully, I might be able to shoot the sun down,” Jared replied calmly.

With that, Chester and Wayne were even more astonished. If he could defeat Lamar with only a tenth of Divine Bow’s power, then how powerful could it be at full strength?
