Chapter 2551 A Peeper

After that, Jared followed Ivasha through the streets and arrived in the center of Imperial Beast City.

Right when the pair was about to enter the palace in Imperial Beast City, a young man in golden armor approached them and said, “Princess Ivasha, I was worried sick when King Yuven said you had gone out alone. It's very dangerous out there. If something bad had happened to you, it would be troublesome! Please inform me when you want to head out next time. I can protect you.”

The young man looked very concerned when he said those words to Ivasha.

However, Ivasha merely glanced at him faintly and uttered in disgust, “Who do you think you are, Tigerus? What made you think I needed to ask for your permission to head out? Do you really think I need to report to you?”

“Oh, no. That's not what I meant! I was just worried about your well-being!” Tigerus hurriedly explained with a shake of his head. When he saw Jared, he furrowed his brows and asked, “Princess Ivasha, why did you bring a human back with you?”

Right after Tigerus finished speaking, he continued in bafflement, “That's not right... This fellow possesses both the aura of the beast race and a human. How could that be? In fact, he possesses the aura of a celestial beast... This is odd! Very odd! Could it be that he's a product of a marriage between the human race and the beast race?”

Tigerus was bamboozled by Jared's aura, and he couldn't help sizing the latter up.

“Contain your curiosity. Whoever I bring back with me shouldn't concern you. Your duty is to guard the imperial city. You should just focus on your job!”

Once Ivasha reprimanded Tigerus, she said to Jared, “Let's go, Jared.”

As Ivasha led Jared into the palace, he picked up his pace and walked alongside her.

Tigerus was pissed off when he saw that. I've never been allowed to walk beside Princess Ivasha!

“Hey... It seems like that subordinate of yours is into you,” Jared said to Ivasha.
