A Man Like None Other (Jared Chance) novel Chapter 3426

“You know such magecraft?” Jared turned to Catina in surprise.

“I know loads of things. You don’t understand me all that well yet.”

Having said that, Catina went over to Izolda and Kiara, who had passed out. She slowly opened her mouth, upon which a bright red orb floated out.

The orb spun above Izolda’s and Kiara’s heads while she placed her hands on them. A flash of red light enveloped the two girls. Catina’s body trembled slightly, and her forehead was dotted with sweat.

Noticing her state, Feenix remarked, “Master, it takes a lot of effort to use Soulslayer Technique, much less performing it on two people right now. Catina will likely need to find a place to recuperate when she’s done.”

After hearing that, Jared inexorably turned his gaze to Catina. His impression of her also improved considerably. Initially, he was very much discomfited at being forced to do the horizontal exercise with her all day.

However, there was nothing he could do about it when he still needed her help at present. Right then, however, his opinion of her had changed.

He thought he could put in more feelings and be emotionally engaged when they were together. A moment later, two strands of black energy surged out of Izolda and Kiara and were absorbed into Catina’s body.

Catina swallowed the orb again before she slowly stood up.

“It’s done. Their memories of this time have been erased. But they must leave the Celestial Battlefield and never come back in their lifetimes. So long as they don’t see this place, they should not recover that memory, and their lives won’t be affected in the future,” Catina stated while wiping the sweat off her forehead.

Misho and Hamish hastily fell to their knees with gratitude etched across their features. “Thank you!”

“Don’t mention it!” Slightly taken aback, Catina hurriedly helped them both up. Misho and Hamish scooped Izolda and Kiara up before bidding Jared farewell.

They were going to leave the Celestial Battlefield. To them, any magical item paled in comparison to family. The few of the cultivators who came with them and had survived also planned to leave with them.

For that reason, he had both Cloud and Rosetta leave the Celestial Battlefield together.

As for why he did not ask the same of Feenix, it was because of her close relationship with Catina. With the latter there, she would never allow Feenix to be threatened in any way.

Cloud and Rosetta nodded. They knew that Jared had made that request out of consideration for them, so they left the Celestial Battlefield with Misho and the others.

“Ms. Flowers, your powers were greatly exhausted. We should find a secluded place and recuperate for a while first,” Jared said to Catina, who appeared slightly pale.

At his concern for her, Catina was startled for a moment. She eyed him before giving a dip of her head.

But just as they were planning to find a secluded place to rest, Monkey Archon jumped out.
