A Man Like None Other novel Chapter 3947

Thiago was the most powerful among the deacons, and he was now the favored disciple of the new sect leader.

Arnold wondered who the daring outer court disciple was to challenge Thiago. It was glaringly obvious that defeat was inevitable.

Arnold glanced at Jared. “Is he the disciple who issued the challenge?”

Jared was merely a Fourth Level Tribulator. No matter how he looked at it, it seemed impossible for him to challenge Thiago.

The disparity in their skills was rather significant. He reckoned Jared probably wouldn’t stand a chance even in a single move.

“Yes, it’s him!”

Thiago gave a nod.

“What’s the point, then? This challenge is utterly pointless. Given the gap in skill levels, you could just defeat him with one hand,” Arnold remarked in a rather dull tone.

Such a challenge, with such a vast disparity in skill levels, was simply not worth watching. It would be over in the blink of an eye, leaving the juridical elders feeling rather unenthused.

“Mr. Nielsen, even if I can crush him with a single finger, we still need to go through the motions and follow the process. Otherwise, some people might not accept it.”

Thiago shot Jared a cold glance.

Yet, a serene look filled Jared’s eyes, and a hint of a mocking smile played at the corners of his mouth.

“All right, let’s get started, then!”

After Arnold finished speaking, he gently pressed his hand onto a stone the size of a palm.

Quickly, a series of radiant lights abruptly illuminated, and several arcane arrays enveloped the arena.

Once the arcane array was activated, Jared and Thiago could get started. Regardless of whatever chaos ensued within, it wouldn’t affect the outside world.

Similarly, those outside couldn’t affect the people in the arena.

Upon seeing the arcane array activated, Judd and Carla grew tense. They had intended to stop Jared, but now that the arcane array was in motion, they were utterly powerless to halt it.

Observing the surrounding arcane array activating, Thiago let out a cold chuckle and said, “Kid, I didn’t expect you to be so fearless. But today, I’m going to make an example out of you. It’s your bad luck, so don’t blame me when you’re dead.”
