With Kai in the lead, they continued climbing toward the mountaintop.

On the way, they occasionally encountered some alchemists. Most of them recognized Kai and greeted him.

However, Kai didn’t mention anything about Thaddeus’ conspiracy.

After all, he had no idea if the alchemists were in league with Thaddeus. Moreover, even if they weren’t, there was no guarantee that they would believe him had he told them about it.

At present, he was in a hurry to find Wyatt and Dylan. The only way then was to convince the two men about it before gradually spreading the news.

“I’ve been looking for you all this time, Mr. Chance. Why are you so slow?” Wyatt called out to Kai as he was heading toward the mountaintop with the others.

“I got held up by some matters, so I was a little late in getting to the mountain, President Chance!”
