A Man Like None Other (Jared Chance) novel Chapter 4715

Just then, the void around them quivered, and several Ultimate Realm cultivators encircled them.

Every one of them was of the Ultimate Realm Level Nine, emanating an incredibly powerful aura.

Upon witnessing this scene, Bernard's brow furrowed immediately. Without a moment's hesitation, he stepped forward with his men to shield Jared.

Orion and Cassian, too, had drawn their weapons.

Even though they certainly were no match for the Ultimate Realm Level Nine cultivators across from them, they had just pledged their allegiance to Jared. Hence, they had to do something for him!

Whether or not they could win was beside the point; what mattered was showing their determination first!

“My name is Orion Xanthos of Starhaven Peak. I've now pledged my loyalty to Mr. Chance, so if any of you dare to lay a hand on him, my brother and I will fight to the death!” Orion loudly called out to the approaching cultivators.

Unexpectedly, the few cultivators didn't even spare a glance at Orion. Instead, they headed straight toward Jared.

Just as Orion and Cassian were about to take action, those cultivators suddenly knelt before Jared.

“Mr. Chance, please take us in!”

This astounding spectacle left Orion, Bernard, and the others utterly dumbfounded.

Jared's face was also full of disbelief.

What's going on today? Why are there so many Ultimate Realm Level Nine cultivators coming to me today to ask me to take them as underlings?

“What do you mean?” Jared asked, clearly puzzled.

One of them, a bearded man, looked up at Jared and said, “Mr. Chance, we are also wandering cultivators, so we hope we can follow you.”

The other cultivators echoed similar sentiments.

“This...”

Jared was somewhat at a loss.

“Mr. Chance, we would go through hell and high water for you without hesitation. We'd even be your dogs, attacking whoever you want us to!” the bearded man said with an earnest expression.

Cassian paused. Wasn't that his line?
