After Snowy finished snuggling up to Calliope, it seemed to catch onto the teasing from Damien and the others. It turned towards them, barking indignantly.
Damien and the rest were taken aback. "Whoa, so feisty!"
Calliope could only chuckle at the scene.
Later that evening, Calliope headed back to the room with Silas. She decided to take a quick shower first. Once she was done, she lounged on the bed for a bit, casually scrolling through her phone and replying to a few messages.
When she heard Silas emerge from the bathroom, she looked up instinctively. There he was, wrapped in nothing but a towel. His defined V-line and eight-pack abs were on full display. His skin was smooth, his physique impeccable, and his face could put celebrities to shame.
Calliope found herself swallowing hard after a few glances. She had been the one insisting on taking things restrained, but damn, even she was tempted. This kind of man was ridiculously tempting!
"Darling," Silas began, his voice low and husky as he walked toward the bed with a hint of dominance. The roughness in his tone only made it sound even more sensual.
"Are we really going to keep things so...restrained? I think young people should indulge their desires while they can, When we’re old, we won’t have the energy for it! Are you sure you don't want to?"
He guided her hand to his cheek. Like a devoted wolf, he gazed at her with deep affection that could melt anyone’s resolve.
Calliope suddenly sprang out from under the covers, her strength surprising even herself. With a swift motion, she pulled and flipped Silas over swiftly, straddling him.
Silas lay there obediently, resembling a playful, loyal puppy. He didn’t make a move, yet his gaze was captivating.

But question is, why the hell Silas can't just open his mouth and tell Caliope that she's the one whom he has in his heart. He would prevent a lot of misunderstanding. Seems like despite capability of talking with modified arctic wolf, she's not like telepathic....

That's weird, in the first chapters there was said that her bio parents and bros doteď on Caliope but then they adopted Lisette, but this chapter suddenly says otherwise. Did author forget what he wrote?...
