Calliope nodded. "Yeah, something did happen, but it was all within my expectations, so there's no need to get upset, guys."
She gave them a quick rundown of the situation. She assured them everything was under control. As for her relationship with Silas, things were going pretty well.
"Gideon actually let you down? Do you want us to deal with him?" Julius asked, his face darkening.
"No need, I can handle it myself," Calliope replied with a playful grin. "All I need is for you guys to be okay."
"Alright, Callie, remember, we have got your back. Whether you're right or wrong, we're always on your side." Quentin said in his deep voice, "We won't let anyone mess with you, not even Silas, got it?"
Calliope nodded, feeling a warm glow in her heart as she looked at them. They were always so loving and protective.
"Callie, this is from some bonuses I got from recent missions. It's not much, but take it as pocket money." Quentin suddenly handed her a card.
"Here's some pocket money from me too. It's not much, but don't turn your nose up at it!" Norton pulled out another card as well.
"Quentin and Norton have given you money, so I won't give you cash, but I've ordered two cars for you. Just give me an address, and I'll have them delivered."
"Guys, I don't need any money!" Calliope protested, trying to refuse.
"We know you don't need it, but making money for you to spend is the fun part!" Julius said affectionately. "Otherwise, what's the point?"
Calliope sighed, knowing she had more money than she could ever spend. But it was nice to receive their gifts.
They all sat down for a meal together. Once they finished eating, Julius’s agent came to pick him up. He had work later and couldn’t stay long.
When Julius leave, he put on a mask and a baseball cap to cover his celebrity face.

This is starting to be the same twister of abilities as Cassandra Yates and Tiffany. But question is, why the hell Silas can't just open his mouth and tell Caliope that she's the one whom he has in his heart. He would prevent a lot of misunderstanding. Seems like despite capability of talking with modified arctic wolf, she's not like telepathic....
Oh no, so FL is again another hidden genius with both hemispheres working on hundreds... Ffffuuuu. Cassandra Yates and Tiffany were already enough, ughugh. And Tiffany was even more exaggerated than Cassandra....
That's weird, in the first chapters there was said that her bio parents and bros doteď on Caliope but then they adopted Lisette, but this chapter suddenly says otherwise. Did author forget what he wrote?...
