"What Eleanor? I don't know her! Don't use the excuse of mistaking me for someone else to escape the mess you've made!"
After Eleanor pushed his hand away, she stepped back, holding her phone tightly to her chest, looking defiantly at him.
Her expression was provocative, and her tone was arrogant. She was nothing like the gentle and well-behaved Eleanor from before.
But the face etched in his memory was exactly the same, just with heavy makeup on.
Bernard was puzzled, as the woman in front of him was clearly his Eleanor.
He raised his hand, wanting to touch her face.
But she tilted her neck back, avoiding his touch.
"Sir, if you keep this up, I'll call for help!"
Bernard lowered his head slightly, his eyes red, and carefully examined her.
"Do you blame me?"
His tone was helpless, as if there was an endless amount of sadness in his heart.
Eleanor shivered slightly, but her face remained calm, and there was no turbulence in her eyes when she looked at him.
"I don't know what you're talking about."
She wiped her red and swollen lips, and glared at Bernard with disgust.
"Forget it, I'll treat it like I was bitten by a mad dog."
After saying that, she quickly turned around and walked to her car.
As soon as she opened the door, a slender hand slammed the door shut.
Without giving her a chance to resist, he hugged her horizontally and held her tightly in his arms.
"Have you gone crazy? Let me go! Help!"
Eleanor trembled with anger, struggling desperately. But the man's strength was surprisingly strong, grabbing her waist, not giving her a chance to move.
Unable to break free, Eleanor bit into his shoulder. He didn't seem to feel pain and carried her towards a sports car.

Loved the story, many times caught in so much actually crying with the situation. Wish had more chapters to a better ending....
It's weird that the story went from narrative to slang use. Good story so far though...
