Sierra maintained her polite smile and simply replied, "Thank you."
"You're welcome." Felicia grinned, her expression light and cheerful. It was as if she were just an easygoing, carefree girl.
"Felicia, I misunderstood you earlier. Sorry about that," Cayden apologized.
"It's fine. In that situation, I understand why you'd think that." Felicia responded with a slight blush, her tone shy and demure when speaking to Cayden. "You should focus on helping Sierra. I'll go practice now."
He nodded, and Felicia turned to leave the piano room.
Once she was gone, he turned to Sierra. "Janice has a bit of a princess syndrome, but she's not a bad person. Don't let what she said get to you. I'll ask Ms. Anderson to talk to her."
Sierra let out a small, indifferent smile. "You don't have to do that, Cayden. The more someone tries to convince her, the more she'll hate me. She hasn't liked me for years—I'm used to it. I'll just focus on myself. I'm not bothered by the opinions of others.
She had a calm, composed tone, while her delicate face carried a faint, elegant smile. It was serene yet untouchable, akin to a blossom radiating grace.
Cayden froze for a moment, momentarily entranced by the sight before him.
After a few seconds, he quickly snapped back to reality, lowering his gaze to conceal the emotions flickering in his eyes. He smiled. "Your mindset is admirable, Sierra."
"It's not some grand wisdom," Sierra explained lightly. "It's just… patience. When you get used to enduring, you stop caring. The more you react, the happier your enemies get. Sometimes, ignoring them is the best revenge."
Her slender brows arched slightly as she smiled, a fleeting grace radiating from her like ripples on water.
