Sierra despised being indebted to anyone.
Unless Theo gave her a proper reason, she wouldn't feel at ease.
At that moment, his deep, steady voice broke the silence. "My father is pressuring me to get married. I have no interest in dealing with other women, and I don't like them getting too close. Yet, I don't mind being around you—and I find you pleasing to the eye."
Sierra let out a quiet sigh of relief.
So, she was just a convenient choice for him.
Despite this, he had no interest in other women, nor did he appreciate them getting too close.
Madison's past suspicions echoed in her mind. She had once wondered if Theo might be hiding a health issue. Could it be true? Was Theo truly... sexually incapable?
Sierra's gaze instinctively swept over him, noting his broad shoulders, slim waist, and naturally sculpted physique.
As he shrugged off his suit jacket, the contours of his muscular chest became faintly visible beneath his black shirt, and his long, toned legs radiated strength and power.
But then again, good looks and a well-built physique didn't necessarily mean capability in that regard.
That would explain a lot. Otherwise, how could a man as exceptional as Theo have remained single for so many years, untouched by romantic scandal?
"What are you thinking about?" Theo asked, his voice breaking the silence. He had been watching her expressions shift, a subtle unease settling in his chest.
Sierra quickly looked away, a tinge of embarrassment creeping up her neck.
Of course, this wasn't something he would ever openly admit—there was no point in dwelling on it.
"Uncle Theo, please give me a few days. I need time to think it over," she murmured.
