Benson paled, his fists clenched as he roared, "We didn't break up! As long as I don't agree to it, she's still my girlfriend!"
His voice was desperate, filled with panic.
Then, he looked at Theo and spat, "You don't even like Sierra. You're just using her! I won't let you hurt her!"
Theo frowned, his patience thinning. His voice dropped, sharp and commanding, "Benson, that's enough!"
"You hurt Sierra. You can't let her go either. What exactly are you trying to prove here? If you hadn't thrown away your engagement for a woman you barely knew, I wouldn't have even had the chance—"
Benson cut him off. "That's not true! I only saw Sophie as a sister! I never meant to hurt Sierra!"
Theo let out a dry, incredulous laugh. He couldn't believe someone this stupid shared his last name.
If they weren't related by blood, he would have already had someone beat Benson up and thrown him out of the city.
"A fiancé who gives his engagement ring to another woman? Who openly flirts with her? Who makes Sierra apologize when she did nothing wrong?"
His voice turned even colder.
"Cheating is cheating. Are you a man or not?"
What sister? A play-sister?
Theo had zero respect for Benson at this point.
At the same time, he couldn't help but feel a sense of relief—if that idiot hadn't messed up, he and Sierra would have never had this chance to be together.
Benson's face burned red with shame before it paled again. He tried to steady himself, but his voice wavered. "Cee is still my girlfriend. Uncle Theo, you can't—"
"Enough." Theo finally snapped. His voice was sharp, cutting through the cold night air as he issued a warning. "Sierra has nothing to do with you anymore. Stay away from her. Do you understand?"
Benson's jaw tightened as he glared at Theo, his anger barely restrained.
His nails dug into his palm, grounding him—keeping him from throwing a punch at the man who had taken what was his.
He had always been second to Theo, overshadowed by his talent, intelligence, and power. And now, even Sierra.
