A Surprising Twist of Fates (Sierra and Theo) novel Chapter 260

Sierra smiled softly as she walked over to sit beside Edward. "Hello, Grandpa Edward and Mrs. Gray."

Janet's expression immediately soured, her gaze flicking between Sierra and Theo.

To her, Sierra was nothing more than a woman who repeatedly got entangled with other men while stringing Benson along—letting someone like that into the family could only lead to trouble.

If it weren't for those shares, Janet wouldn't have even considered allowing Benson to marry someone so fickle.

But once the wedding was over, she would make sure Sierra transferred the shares to Benson. After that, Janet would do everything in her power to push for a divorce and set Benson up with a more suitable match.

The more Janet thought about her plan, the more perfect it seemed. Her expression softened with satisfaction.

"Sierra, I brought Benson here today to apologize. All the misunderstandings between you two were caused by that woman stirring up trouble. He's already cut ties with her.

"You two have known each other since childhood, and it would be a shame for a third party to ruin something so special."

Benson nodded earnestly, adding, "Cee, I promise I have nothing to do with her anymore. If you're still upset, I'll send her far away to another city and make sure she never comes near us again. I'll do anything, as long as you'll forgive me."

When she saw Benson's desperation, Janet's heart ached for him. However, when she looked at Sierra, her face tightened with disapproval.

"Alright, Sierra, don't make this more difficult than it needs to be. Are you waiting for Benson to grovel?"

Edward's expression darkened, and he shot Janet a sharp look. "Enough. This is between them. Stay out of it."

Janet bristled at the reprimand but chose not to argue further.

"Cee, the choice is yours." Edward sighed, his eyes full of reassurance. "Don't worry. Whatever you decide, I will always be here to support you."

Sierra felt a pang of guilt at his unwavering kindness. "I'm sorry, Grandpa Edward. Benson and I have already decided to go our separate ways, so there won't be any more contact between us. Besides, I—"

Before she could finish and mention her marriage to Theo, Benson interrupted her. "No, I won't accept this! I'm not agreeing to a breakup!

"Cee…"

His face twisted with desperation as he reached out to grab her hand.

But before his hand could touch hers, a sharp smack rang out—Theo had swatted it away.
