Theo patted Sierra's back gently. She was in the middle of a disturbed sleep, but she seemed to have found a sense of security when she caught his familiar scent.
She nuzzled her head against his chest until she found a position she was comfortable with and continued sleeping.
The night was dark, and Theo's eyes were filled with love as he checked her face out without reservation. He didn't stop patting her back until her frown was gone. Then, he lowered his head and planted a kiss on the corners of her eyes.
Theo couldn't go back to sleep for now. He rested his chin on Sierra's head as he unwittingly thought about the fact that someone once confessed to her. He had a good idea about who it was as well, and the notion made his eyes flicker.
Cayden Lindth was excellent at playing piano, and he had killer looks. He was lauded as Piano Maestro on campus, meaning he had his pick of the ladies.
Young men like him might have seemed a little naive and immature to Theo, but they were captivating among the young ladies.
Apparently, Sierra was highly sought after by men.
Theo tightened his arms, wishing he would never have to let her go. He didn't loosen his grip a little until she groggily patted him in her sleep.
…
The next day, Sierra received a call from Madison.
"Cee, you're popular again."
She was freshening up as she asked in a puzzled tone, "What do you mean?"
Madison couldn't stop laughing at the other end of the phone. "Did you go on a date with Mr. Gray yesterday?"
"How did you know about that?" Sierra gasped and stopped dead in her tracks.
Madison laughed louder before elaborating, "It's not just me alone. Everybody knows about it now."
Sierra was dumbfounded now. "Huh?"
Madison decided to stop messing with Sierra. She sent three screenshots and teased, "See it for yourself. Honestly, I didn't expect things between you and Mr. Gray to go this quickly."
Sierra hastily wiped her hand and checked the pictures out.
