"Theo's expression was calm as he held the key card in between his fingers. "I've already checked into our room. Since you didn't sleep well on the plane, you should go up and catch up on sleep."

Sierra's attention fell onto his hands, and she shook her head. "I don't feel like sleeping now."

Why hadn't she noticed how good-looking Theo's hands were in the past?

When he noticed the look in her eyes, Theo's gaze flickered as he turned to look at Cayden. "Our room is on the 16th floor, so we'll head up first."

The two men were fully aware of each other's feelings, but there was only an air of politeness around them. They were also not hostile to each other..

Smiling, Sierra waved Cayden goodbye as she followed Theo to their room.

When they arrived at room 1603, Sierra threw her jacket on the couch and explored the room curiously. She then sat by the windowsill and looked at the scenery in awe. "It's beautiful."

Theo opened their luggage and arranged their clothes before he wrapped his arms around her from behind. "Are you hungry?"

She looked at the watch around his wrist and noticed that it was already noon. So, with a smile, she suggested, "If you aren't busy, why don't we go around and try some local delicacies?"

Theo usually complied with all of her requests. However, he refused her suggestion, explaining, "That won't do. You might get a stomachache, and it might affect your performance in the competition."

Seeing the disappointment in her eyes, he coaxed her. "I'll accompany you to eat whatever you want once you finish your competition."

Knowing that he had her best interests at heart, she did not make a fuss and followed him down to have lunch together.

The next day, Cayden and the others received an announcement claiming that there was a sudden change in the competition rules.

The ten competitors from Oceanea City had decided to meet at a restaurant, and everyone's expressions were grim.

"The pressure and stress worsened after they announced that they would live-stream the entire competition."

"The competition is already tough enough. Why are the judges so insistent on increasing the difficulty?"

"I heard that more than 300 participants are competing for those three spots. I can't even imagine how tough the competition would be."
