Chapter 50 He Doesn’t Deserve to Be a Father 

Sienta had expected Vera to smile as usual and bend down to hug her, but instead, the smile instantly vanished. 

Vera looked at her in panic, her tearful gaze quickly shifting toward the man beside her. 

The man shot her a fierce look, making her so frightened that she instinctively shrank behind Vera. His expression darkened further. 

Vera quickly picked her up and hurried out of the room. Moments later, William stoned out, his face twisted with anger as he demanded, “Did you bring her bere?– 

“No, William. It wasn’t me, “Vera replied hastily. 

Seeing Vera so scared, little Sierra whispered, “I came here myself. I just wanted to see my little brother.” 

“Who’s your little brother? You troublemaker! Are you trying to harm Xavier?” William shouted at her, his eyes full of disgust and hatred. 

Little Sierra’s face tumed pale with fear, tears streaming down her cheeks. 

Vera immediately pulled her close, pleading, “William, Sierra just wanted to see her little brother. She meant no harm. Please don’t be so harsh. She’s still so young 

-don’t scare her like this.” 

“Who knows what her intentions are?” William snapped. 

He snatched the small bag from her hands and then threw the cake and fruit–she had carefully brought onto the floor. He discarded the bag too, stomping on it in 

“That was for my little brother!” Little Sietta cried out, running to collect her things, staring at the ruined cake with buming eyes, her face flushed with frustration. 

“You still dare to glare at me?” William’s rage flared even more at her defiance. He raised his hand to strike her, but Vera blocked him. 

“William, don’t hit her. Sterra is your daughtertoo.” 

“Shut up! I have no daughter! William roared, his eyes wide with fury. He looked at Sierra with sheer revulsion. 

“This disaster! Why couldn’t she have shown up earlier or later? Why does she have to cause trouble at Xavier’s first birthday party? She’s so scheming. I really regret not killing her when she was bom! 

“I’m waming you, don’t ever come here again, I don’t 

want to see you. Leave! 

Then, he grabbed Vera and pulled her away, tuming to leave. Vera kept looking back but couldn’t break free from his grip 

Little Sierra watched helplessly as the door slammed shut, cutting her off from her family inside. She cried out for Vera, but there was no answer. 

At the entrance, a photo from Xavier’s grit birthday hung on the wall, showing everyone smiling happily together. 

That day, it was her Bobby who came to take her away. Now, as Sierra thought back on those moments, bittemess still stirred within her.
