Chapter 59 Escape 

William’s expression immediately changed. Looking at Vera, he snorted. “I know you’re feeling sorry for her. For the Gray family’s sale, go ahead and bring her 

some food.” 

“Thank you, William,” came Vera’s quick reply. There was also a smile on her face. 

“I’ll come with her,” he said, unwilling to leave her with the keys, and stood up. 

She nodded, had the housekeeper prepare the food, and cattled it upstairs.
