Chapter 61 He Cares About You 

As Madison spoke, her eyes reddened again at the scene she had witnessed the previous day. 

“I’m m sorry for worrying you, Maddy,” Sierra said softly. 

“When I saw you unconscious, I was really terrified. That’s why Lerled a bit too much. Theo claimed that I was too loud and told his assistant to drag me out. Honestly, that was so rude,” she responded sheepishly, though her tone carried a trace of deliace. 

What Sierra didn’t know was that Madison had been clinging to her hospital bed, crying so dramatically that anyone passing by might have thought the person lying there was no longer alive. 

Her lips curved into a faint smile, and her eyes fluttered slightly. 

Once again, it was Theo who came to her rescue. She was starting to owe him a lot of favors. 

She pressed her lips together lightly and asked, “Maddy, how did Uncle Theo know where I was?” 

Madison pulled her chair closer and explained, “While you were unconscious, I took the opportunity to ask Theo’s assistant about it. I heard that Theo realized. something had happened to you and immediately started loolding for you the night before last.. 

“He first went to your apartment complex to check the surveillance footage but only found out that you had left the building. He couldn’t figure out where you’d gone after that. Then, somehow, he managed to get my contact Information and called to ask me if I knew where you were. 

“Of course, I didn’t know either. Your phone was off when I called you. In the end, he traced your entire travel route using surveillance footage. That’s how he found out you had returned to the Shaw residence. He ran into you on his way to find you there. 

“All in all, it was quite a rough journey for him to locate y 

you.” 

As Sierra listened, she was stunned. She hadn’t expected Theo to go to such lengths to find her. A wan current flowed through her heart, spreading to every part of her body. 

Madison continued, “He didn’t leave your side after bringing you to the hospital yesterday. He stayed here all night and only lett this moming. I heard from his assistant that he didn’t sleep the night before while looking for you. Including last night, he’s been up for two nights and a day straight. 

“Cee, Theo cares about you a lot.” 

Sierra’s heart trembled slightly at those words. She replied, “That’s because he sees me as someone younger. Of course, he’d be worried If something happened to 

Madison frowned and said, “Sierra, you know that’s not what I mean. From my observations yesterday, combined with my wealth of experience with men, Theo’s feelings for you are romantic, not familial. 

“The way he was so tense and cautious around you and the way he couldn’t hide his emotions or concem in his eyes–those are not just simple feelings.”
