Never Late, Never Away Chapter 1344
Right now, she would not breathe a word even if her mother were to ask her about her plan. There was just too much at stake. Besides, Lyna could not fully trust Yvette yet.
If Yvette carried out the job successfully, Lyna would definitely consider revealing more of the plan to her. Thus, the completion and success of this task would prove that Yvette was worthy and earned a place to be her ally, which meant that they were now in the same boat. Consequently, they would not be able to run away from each other. More crucially, Fabian would not let them off easily and retaliate if he found out what they had done.
Lyna knew she would not stand a chance of beating Fabian if she were to fight this battle alone. Therefore, even though Yvette may not be that intelligent in terms of giving constructive strategy, she still stood a better chance in fighting against the odds if Yvette were her ally.
Despite that, Yvette was not angry as she knew the situation they were in. Lyna’s sarcastic answer only showed how important the matter was, so it was normal that Lyna did not want to reveal it. Most importantly, Yvette was well aware that Lyna would have to bear the dire consequences if the plan were to leak out.
Shortly after, they began to discuss the steps to go against Fabian and Hannah.
“Alright, I understand,” Xavier said coldly.
He narrowed his eyes, and the atmosphere in his office became tense.
He found out that Hannah had a new assistant of Remdik descent, who had a unique background.
Xavier was not as innocent as Hannah. Once he found out about it, he immediately linked the new assistant with Fabian. That man probably arranged for the new assistant to stick with Hannah. Otherwise, why would someone like Natasha end up being her assistant?
“Fabian, I can’t believe how scheming you are. You managed to control her and restrict her dom. What do you take her as? Do you think she is a bird that can be trapped in a cage? Or is she merely your tool? You are inhumane!” Xavier growled.
His blood was boiling. They just exchanged vows, yet that bas*ard forgot about it so quickly.
Thinking about Hannah, Xavier’s heart ached for her and wanted to find a way to help her as soon as possible.
